The media could not be loaded. This product arrived fast and was well protected in the box. It came with a USB-C charger. The laptop looks brand new, and no scratches or dents. The specs were exactly how the seller described. The laptop has a backlit keyboard (press Fn Ctrl+spacebar to activate) and fingerprint reader. For now, it's running fast and with no problems. Everything works properly: audio, screen, lid, keyboard, etc. I am very surprised by the condition and functionality of this laptop. I needed a new laptop and did not want to spend thousands of dollars, so I pulled the trigger on this laptop. I am impressed. With a 90-day return policy, what do you have to lose? I will return later to update the review once I have more time with it (this is my first day).Update 11/30/2023The laptop is amazing software is working with no issues. The laptop is fast, and OMG! The battery life is fantastic! The aesthetic is excellent, with no scratches or dents. keyboard lights up, and the key traction is satisfying. I would have loved for it to have Windows 11 installed, but that is not a deal breaker.Do not hesitate to buy from this merchant.

Well built, the textured plastic case resists fingerprints better than the newer T490s. The seller is very attentive and handled a minor issue quickly and courteously.

The product website description and picture is not matching with the original delivered laptop.I have reactive a laptop with replaced laptop battery. Battery size is very big and laptop looks weird, but in the website picture laptop looks very nice and smart.

Great laptops.

Pros:-Delivery was as expected.-Laptop in good condition as hoped. Some abrasion on the shell of the laptop but just the typical small amount expected of a refurb and it looks fine.-Clean inside. There wasn't any dust inside of it.-Keypad impressed right away, very nice to type on.-Screen is in good condition with no dead pixels.-Did not come with touch screen. I consider this a positive because I would never use it and having a touch screen just uses up the battery faster even if you disable touch functionality.Cons:-There is the issue of the product page not containing full information on all the specs/details of what you are getting. My guess is this is because the seller's inventory of T480 Thinkpads have different feature sets and they don't want to differentiate them other than by CPU and storage. Some have touch screens, some have fingerprint readers, some have backlit keyboards, etc etc and it's just luck of the draw if you get the features you want when ordering from this particular refurb page.-Adding to the previously mention con.. There is no internal battery in my laptop! How was I to know that before ordering? One of the positives of the ThinkPad T480 is it can have an external and internal battery. I thought that is just how they come, so it is one of the reasons I went with this model in the first place. The external battery I did get is fine (and its a 48Wh one if you are curious), but it's a bummer that I apparently have to order the internal battery separate if I want the benefit of having hot-swappable external batteries (which I already have a second 72Wh one) without having to power off the laptop.The market for refurb laptops like this is the sort of tech-knowledgeable consumer who knows exactly what they want and why. Less tech-knowledgeable consumers would simply buy new, and likely pay more for specs and features they don't need. I do consider myself in the former category so it is a bit annoying to nonetheless be thrown this curve ball of "oops, no internal battery when you thought that was a standard feature!".Otherwise a good product and delivery experience, so if the issue of unknown feature set and perhaps not getting the 2nd battery does not concern you then you know to ignore it. I will update this review if I notice or think of anything else.

This laptop is an absolute beast for being a 5 year old refurbished machine. I’m using it for school with SQL and learning database management. This laptop just zips. Good battery life. Some reported not receiving an internal battery but that was not the case with mine. I received both internal and external battery.Seriously for less than $300 you’re getting an absolutely work horse that has more space and memory than any new laptop that’s being released for over double the price.Just buy it already.

It works great, no problems at all. A+ All around.
