Excellent bond strength
I have a small river boat which uses a heat exchanger to cool the engine. The heat exchanger is made from cast aluminium and has a brass filling nozzle with a pressure cap, much like a radiator cap. Over time the radiator nozzle developed a small leak at the interface with the heat exchanger depositing coolant in my bilges when the engine was running. I bought a new filler nozzle and, with the help of a blow lamp, set about removing the existing item. Once the opening was cleaned up I used this product to bond the new nozzle in place. Curing in the relatively low ambient temperatures was slow so I taped everything in position and let it be for a full 48 hours. After this time, the bead of adhesive I could see and touch around the nozzle was as hard as bell metal as was the residual amount mixed that I had retained. I topped up the system with coolant and have since made several long trips in the boat without any sign of leakage. An excellent product which appears to be doing exactly what the manufacturer says it will.

Works well in high heat areas
Used for mending a fitting on a lawnmower engine. Area gets very hot and fitting remains solid. Not sure how well with works over a long period of time but does as advertised.
