Life-changing!
After reading so many product reviews and watching YouTube videos of different portable treadmills, I decided on Maksone and I'm so glad I did! First and foremost, their customer service is amazing. They respond quickly to messages and resolved my issue right away. The most important when purchasing any product is that the company stands behind its product. When the unit arrived, it was well packaged despite the poor treatment of the box by the delivery service. There were some minor cracks on the body but not so much that I felt the need to complain about it and certainly not the fault of the seller. I had a slight issue with the remote where it only worked half the time when I pressed the buttons and when I contacted them, they were quick to send me a replacement immediately. The wood grain is beautiful, matches my decor, and overall this unit looks much nicer than most of the ones on Amazon. Out of the box, I did have to adjust the belt on it as it was closer to one side but after reading the instructions, I fixed it in less than a minute. Please keep in mind that with this unit and any other type of portable treadmill, you will always have this issue with the belt sliding off to one side. If this is troublesome to you, go purchase a full-sized treadmill for at least 4 times the cost of this one. For what you get at this price, it's a quick and easy fix that is needed from time to time. Check the YouTube videos if you need visual assistance. It tracks how much time you're on, calories, speed, and distance. Please note that the distance is in km and not miles. I have an Apple Watch so this doesn't bother me too much since the watch will let me know how many miles I've walked. However, if you don't have a watch to do this for you, it's easy to look up online (km to miles converter) and 1 mile is approximately 160 km. You'll get used to the math after a few walks under your belt. I try to aim for 3-4 miles several times a day. Hopefully, I can do that in a session one day. :)Overall, I am extremely happy with this Maksone treadmill. It has made a huge impact on my daily activity level. I sit at my desk a lot for my job and would barely even do a mile a day and less than 1200 steps. Since getting this, I've managed to track between 8000 - 11000 steps a day and I already feel a difference in my energy levels.I've also used it while working on my laptop. I have a foldable laptop table that I put on top of my desk and walk on the treadmill at 1.5-2.0 speed while typing without any issues.I highly recommend this! It's so easy to walk a mile while watching TV. This has definitely helped me stay consistent and as a person with fibromyalgia (amongst other things), this has been life-changing.

READ BEFORE you Buy!!!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for the low profile design (the wood was a selling point for me). It’s a great size, not as narrow or short as you may expect it to be. However there are some issues right from the start (I’ve only had it a couple weeks). First of all, it’s squeaks like crazy (from the internal components you can hear it in the video I attached ) and their is no trouble shooting area in the manual for how to resolve this, it’s coming from the motor itself. Second the belt deviates to the left or right, but I was however able to fix this despite the limited directions for how to resolve it in the manual. Lastly you need the remote to operate this (I knew that going in) so basically of your remote stops working or you loose it, then you can’t use the machine…just something to keep in mind.UPDATE: a couple weeks ago I left a video review showing how my walking pad squeaks, well new and final update. It has completely stopped working. I went to turn it on today and about 3 minutes into walking at high speed, it just shut off. I was holding a water bottle when this happened. Not only did I fall, but I got water all over myself, because it wasn’t a gradual shut off, (like how you normally shut it off with the remote) it just completely stopped, and from going from a high speed of 4.5 to an abrupt off, knocked me off my feet and scared me. My husband and I tried to do some trouble shooting but to no avail. So two months into owning and it’s useless now. What a waste of money! I’m so upset, it seemed so well made and unique with the wood sideboards. So buyer beware!

Holds up to a large man well
I spent a lot of time looking around at these walking pads before purchasing this one. My main reason for purchasing this one is that it had a wood trim similar to my desk at work, and therefore would fit in the professional environment well. My main gripe with trying to find a good walking pad is that all of the pictures show smaller women walking on them -- I'm a 6'2, 210 lbs man, so I was worried that I wouldn't fit on any of these. Well, if you're my height, you will fit fine on this walking pad, rest assured. The motor is powerful enough to handle my size when I'm using it, though it does have a clear loading effect, so if you're much much heavier than I am, it may struggle. The beeping is extremely loud, but you can mute it with the remote.DO NOT LOSE THE REMOTE -- it is necessary for operation of the device (I assume you can request a new one, but I would recommend not having to find out).It is lightweight (in my opinion) at around 45 lbs, but it's long, so it's a bit bulky to carry. I recommend having assistance carrying it to its operating station. Once it is where it belongs, however, it is very easy to move around on the ground, so I typically just slide it under the side of my desk. It may be more difficult for you if you're planning on storing it somewhere far away from your desk, such as a closet. I cannot attest if this walking pad is more or less heavy than others. This walking pad adds about two inches which, unfortunately for me, puts my two inches above the ergonomic viewing level of my monitors on my standing desk. If you're my height or taller, you will very likely have to also get monitor stands so you aren't looking down at your monitors constantly. The pad is very quiet, though it obviously gets louder the faster you go. I typically walk at a speed of 2.5 or 3, and it sounds sort of loud to me, but I'm paranoid about making noise in my quiet office space. So far, nobody has complained, or even recognized when I'm using it, so it's definitely considered "quiet."

Awesome walking pad
I’ve had it for over a year and I love it. You can mute the beeps, it feels pretty wide. It’s pretty and easy to move around. I’d buy it again! It’s been quiet as well
