Speaker is 💯
This bad boy here is a must have. The sound quality is 💯. The battery is 💯. The price and amazon payment option was 💯. The fact that it holds the same battery percentage when not in use is 💯. So I don't have to keep charging it. Just get the speaker. Oh and it is on the heavier side but I don't mind because everything else is 💯.

This speaker is a game-changer and worth every penny! Enjoying music has never been easier!
I recently picked up this speaker for our school events, and it has completely transformed the way we handle sound! We were fed up with unreliable tech that often delivered disappointing audio quality, so I decided to invest in this gem. Let me tell you, it truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I paired it with my phone, I was blown away by how powerful and clear the sound was. We took it to a barbecue in the park with over 200 kids, and the sound carried all the way to the parking lot! It ran for three hours without a hitch and still had plenty of battery leftover. If you’re planning a big event, I definitely recommend creating an awesome playlist and connecting your device—it really amps up the atmosphere. I’m even thinking about getting a compatible microphone to take things to the next level.Just a heads up: the speaker is on the bulky side, so you might want to have a wagon or another convenient way to transport it. Overall, while it may be a bit of an investment, trust me—it’s worth every penny!

Sony srs-xp700 vs JBL partybox 310
Let's be honest, you're probably looking at the Sony xp700 because the JBL partybox 310 is sold out and because it's now $100 less than the JBL. Well, the JBL is indeed a better "party' speaker. Much better/deeper bass at volume, better light features, easier to transport with the wheels and telescoping handle, and it even has a hole for a speaker stand, meaning you can elevate it over a dance floor and project the sound further. If your primary use case is throwing medium to large dance parties or hosting events, hands down go with the JBL. Keep in mind, neither speakers have RCA or XLR inputs, so if you're trying to start a side-hustle as a DJ, neither speaker will be the best choice, but the JBL is the closest to an amateur DJ speaker. However, the Sony is actually a better "casual" speaker. IMO, it looks less ostentatious and more classy/understated than the JBL, with a more subtle light feature. It looks good and will aesthetically work just about anywhere, from a formal social event to a casual house party with friends. It has better sound quality at low volumes and simply a greater range of lower volume levels. Meaning, if you want softer background music during a dinner or a social event, the Sony will give you a wider range of volume levels to work with, whereas the JBL wants to blast music as loud as possible. Further, I feel the Sony has a more balanced sound and is just more usable for a wider range of situations, barring loud raves or crazy dance parties. The Sony also offers better battery life, and has battery saving features, which means the battery might last longer than the JBL over the years, since it will need fewer charge cycles. In conclusion, if you're a wanna be DJ, just looking to host dance parties and basement raves, stick the JBL. However, if you're like most people, and you want a good speaker for a wide range of situations, from listening to music in your living room, to throwing a birthday party, to hosting a formal cocktail event on your patio, the Sony is the more versatile option, aside from not having ANY audio out jack to daisy chain with different brand speakers and not being able to mount it on a speaker stand. Overall, a decent buy as long as it's less than the JBL. AND COME ON SONY, GIVE US SOME VERSATILITY AND LET US USE SPEAKER STANDS AND AUDIO OUTPUTS!!!

This speaker rocks!
It’s a great sounding Karaoke Bluetooth speaker system. The music comes out clean and crisp with very good lows too. I like the sound better than the JBL at the same level. Would have been perfect if it came with a wireless microphone.

Greatest Speaker I've ever owned and I'm 43
First of all this is Sara's husband leaving his first and only product review. My wife doesn't care about speakers because she's a woman, but I do. And I will tell you, this is the greatest speaker I've ever owned. Just buy it and thank me later. I told my buddies do yourself a favor and treat yourself for Christmas, you've earned it. I bought this to replace my 7 year old Sony speaker and thought it was the same one. It definitely is not. I tested this bad boy out and I can hear it down the block, my neighbors will probably start sending me thank you letters for playing Shoot to Thrill to get them amped up for the day. The sound quality is perfect, the bass is like a full body experience. Having a bad day? Then take a shower with your speaker and get all those negative emotions out. Having a good day? Make it even better. Just buy the speaker boys. And no I'm not paid by Sony to say this, but I probably should be.
