It's only been three days, and it seems to be working fine. Very simple. Just take it out of the box, attach, whatever type of spout you want to use, then put it in the water. Unfold the solar panel and sit it on the ground or wherever, and plug the pump cable into the solar panel. That's about it. Worked perfectly as soon as I plugged it in. I have read some complaints here, so I'm hoping I don't have any trouble with it. That being said, I really do love it! Now I go in the yard just to putter around my little pond. Plus I love the trickling water sounds. :)

It worked fine for two months. Then it suddenly stopped. I took it apart and the propeller was stuck. It would no turn. All the inner parts were wet with some rust. I think the seals leaked. Anyway, it doesn't work any more. Waste of money. Cheaply made and its past the refund date.

The media could not be loaded. Using the pump to create a waterfall feature over rocks around our pond. The waterfall only works when its sunny but that's perfect as that's usually when we are out to watch it anyway. We love that the feature essentially turns itself on and off and runs for free being solar powered.Pump filter needed cleaning every day in order to run for a couple of months and then just stopped working all together. Less than a year old so pretty disappointing. Cannot find a replacement pump for this system.

It’s a waste of money! Like I said, worked for a month. Contacted the company through the Amazon app and NO REPLY! Very poor customer service! I hope Amazon stops carrying their products so other people don’t get ripped off!

This little pump runs a double waterfall on my 80 gallon fish pond. Not a ton of water pressure but sufficient for flow. Only downfall is changing the filters so often (small filters). I've had it two seasons now and no issues and no electric bill! Highly recommend.

I give this product a 5 even though I don’t use it anymore. I used this for a small fountain. The information said it needs direct sunlight which is very true. As the sun moves across the sky, any slight shadow or indirect light will cause the pump to stop.. I needed something more continuous so ran ac to my fountain for new pump.

I purchased this fountain for a small outdoor pond fully expecting to mount the solar panels on a roof. It didn't come with any mounting hardware. I emailed support, and after several useless emails volleys, it was determined the panels are too heavy to mount. Really! They may weigh all of five pounds between the two of them. Who are they kidding! Insulted they think I would be that dumb. Anyway, they said I could prop them up, tent style, or stand the panels up, except there's nothing to stake in the ground either. The pump works great, it's just a shame there's no way to mount the panels, and their customer service was patronizing at best.

Easy set up ... within minutes the fish were swimming under the flow , birds were flying to the water and it is simply outstanding. Now that being said , as soon as a small cloud blocked the sun it cut off , and on a overcast day, it will not work ... I simply purchased a compatable battery pack ,( 12 volt ) placed it under the solar panel for protection against the weather , and now it stays on all the time ! We love it ! The solar panel really does need direct bright light , If need be, you can purchase an extention wire to get it in its desierable location for continuios flow. Buy the highest wattage, ours is 35 ....
