Good sized, strong padlock. Unlike more common padlocks this padlock is not spring loaded so don't think it's defective, it's the barrel design. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Absolutely perfect for what I needed. Super sturdy, Large enough to be secure but not too bulky. retained key locks. Not sprung and the fact that you actively have to lock the lock rather than just snapping it shut mean you can never lock yourself out. Also really well priced. Can be a bit fiddly to get the key in the correct orientation as the key hole is round and the key is vaguely rectangular.

Good quality item, i wasnt expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Has a good bit of weith to it and seems robust, it also has some rubber seals to prevent water ingress. When you unlcok it, the key stays in the lock until you lock it up again, so you cant loose the key when its unlocked, nice feature.

A good, strong padlock. Easy to use, though does not lock shut without using the key. Supplier was very expeditious and efficient in fulfilling my order.

Great long handled padlock bought for a metal garden gate.It’s easy to open and close and comes with 3 keys.I’ve made the mistake of buying cheaper locks that are almost impossible to open. I bought this one because it has a good brand name YALE. It was worth the price. Lesson learnt.

I didn't expect much from a sub £15 lock, but I did expect a little more from something with Yale's name on it. This is clumsy to use, the rubber seals prevent it from being used on small loops and this thing has already started to rust after a few weeks. You will be better off using string.Edit: It appears I was hasty in my first review of this product as I used the term lock and I now realise this was a gross misuse of the term, in hindsight this is a 'lock shaped thing' and that's as far as the resemblance goes. Avoid and look elsewhere if you need something that actually offers any security whatsoever.

This is a cheap and cheerful padlock! It does the job and locks things but I’m not sure how long it will last or how secure it actually is. The key is super fiddly to get in (almost feels like a toy lock) and I already have some surface rust appearing. On the plus side ,as mentioned, it was cheap so there’s the trade off.

Great little lock for gym / swim locker. Disc retainer code, so not easily picked or decoded.
