Noctua NF-R8 redux-1200, Ultra Quiet Silent Fan, 3-Pin, 1200 RPM (80mm, Grey)

I got this to replace a fan on an Eaton UPS that sounded like a jet plane because I'm using it domestically not in a server room. Wasn't sure how much of an improvement it would provide but people, this fan is *silent*! Ok you could hear something if you got close and paid close attention but you won't be disappointed. Quality item!Also has three wires so doesn't make the UPS freak out about missing fan speed info.

Much quieter than 'normal' fans the same size. Are a tad pricey but worth it for the peace.

Used on HTPC for silence and good airflow in a cramped case

Very quiet fan from a manufactuer with a good reputation. Comes with a long length of connector meaning you probably will not need an extension cable. My first 8cm fan, but if its anything like my old 12 cm Noctio fans I anticipate that it will outlive the life of the other components of my PC

Bought this to replace cooling fan in an AV Amplifier which was noisy. The Noctua NF-R8 was so quiet by comparison that I had to check it was spinning. Despite being a lower wattage than the original, there is a brisk cool airflow across the Amplifier heat sinks but no irritating noise!

I fitted two of these fans into my media server to replace two that has gone noisy. Perfect fit for the mounting points. After fitting I had to double check on start up, they are so quiet I didn't think they were running. They move enough air as well.

Two fans I bought are great. Great quality. Total sillence. Amazing performance.

My son has autism and spins computer fans to self soothe. I've bought cheaper ones in the past and became used to replacing them every 6 weeks or so. This instantly feels better quality. So far so good.

Upgraded the PSU fan of my ender 3 pro using this fan and an 80mm adapter STL from thingiverse,Used the low noise adapter to prevent needing to cut this wire up.Bonus of a slower fan, no PSU noise and no heat issues

este ventilador é bem caro, mas vale o investimento. tem um fluxo de ar muito bom pelo tamanho (8cm) e é muito silencioso.os ventiladores de 8cm baratinhos não ventilam quase nada e geram um ruido terrível.recomendo

Nivel de ruido casi nulo, medida justa y las extensiones que traen fueron suficientes para poder conectarlos sin problemas

I used this to quiet down the loud 24V fan in my professional power amplifier (QSC RMX 1450) so I can use it to power a subwoofer in my home theater.I did have to install a buck converter to drop the 24V in the amp down to 12V for the fan, but not a big deal.Essentially silent, and still moves enough air to keep my amp cool to the touch. Not sure I'd do this if the amp was still in a pro environment pumping out max volume all day, but in a home theater environment, no big deal.I've always been reluctant to pay the Noctua tax, but this thing is so good, I think I'll be coughing up the extra money on my next computer build, too.

Questo modello di alimentatore con trasformatore "vecchio stile" (pesante) viene fornito (almeno quello arrivato a me) di una ventola rumorosa. La Noctua anche stavolta non mi ha deluso, si è rivelata silenziosa e con un consumo 4 volte inferiore rispetto alla ventola originale. Sottoalimentandola di 1-2V raggiunge livelli di rumorosità impareggiabili, ottimi per le operazioni a basso carico, mentre a tensione nominale garantisce più flusso d'aria di quella originale, perfetto per i momenti in cui si utilizzano carichi elevati (2-3A) per lunghi periodi.
