Excellent
I bought these by mistake so had to buy the global sharpen to go with them. I’m so pleased I did, my knives are sharper than they have been for ages. If you’ve got global knives please buy the sharpen that goes with them. The wheel are large so cover a bigger area unlike the other one on the market.

Sharp knives again
I did try super gluing the 2 halves of the old wheel together again. As I purchased this I suspect you can guess this did not work The new wheels makes the knifes amazinly sharp quickly. But dont press, just stroke. I suspect the old wheel came apart because of too much preasure.

Mine were defective
The fine wheels became detached from each other when used for the first time...and as a result the knives do not sharpen.Having used the sharpener for a number of years this is the first time that this has happened..

Too big for Shinkansen 220
These are too big for the Shinkansen 220 sharpeners. If you have to push them in - they’re the wrong size.

Not correct size
Original stones from MinoSharp 440 on left, received stones on right. Axle is correct length 3cm, but diameter is much smaller that I need for my sharpener.Return started, should be fine. But just to be aware, the diameter of these stones are 24-25mm.
