Great, fixed my expensive mixer for cheap!

After watching a few videos on how to replace the worm gear in my KitchenAid mixer, I decided to tackle the repair myself, and I’m happy to report that my confidence was justified—it went smoothly! Be warned, though, this job can get pretty messy due to the large amount of food-grade grease in the gearbox. If I had to do it again, I’d definitely wear plastic gloves from the start.I had to start the repair twice. The first time, I realized I needed a square-point driver bit that I didn’t have. Once I picked up the right bit kit, though, the repair only took about 30 minutes. Overall, I feel like I saved at least $50, maybe even up to $100, compared to what it would’ve cost to take it to a repair shop.Now, my trusty KitchenAid mixer is back in action, churning out cakes, cookies, pizza dough, and homemade buns with no issues at all. It’s like having a brand-new mixer again, and I’m thrilled with the results. If you’re comfortable with a bit of DIY and don’t mind getting your hands a little greasy, I highly recommend giving this repair a try before spending money on professional help. The RURBRIN Worm Gear Replacement worked perfectly, and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

I purchased this to fix a KitchenAid mixer that wasn't working. It was a really messy job to remove all the grease and parts but I was able to replace the gears and add new grease and the mixer works like brand new. This is a very cheap item to fix the mixer so I'm very happy with the results.

Too small for shaft, totally unusable and I’m past the review window so I’m stuck with it.
