I got this for my 4 and 2 year old as an activity while we were camping. The tools were used for about a minute then they found a rock. I was very surprised to find real gold AND a real diamond! my 4 year old yelled "we are rich" 🤣 it was great fun.

I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old daughter. She loves it. It is a bit more sturdy than the ones I've purchased before which means it lasts longer than one sitting. She's been working on it off and on for a few weeks. It is definitely a giftable item. The price is more than for. A great value for the money.

This item implies you get two for one and that the size of this items is larger then what it is. The big ones at Walmart are 10.00 each. Way to pricey.

My niece loved the excitement of chipping away on it. Even though she didn’t hit gold or a diamond, she still loved it.

These are kind of lame. My kids like using them but the prize inside is a bit boring and isn’t any fun once they have been discovered. We used our own tools to chip away at the ‘rock.’ Makes a powdery mess, so it is best to do outside. I don’t think it makes a good gift, aside from stocking stuffer, as it can only be done once and then the toy inside isn’t fun to play with later on.

It was a lot of fun. The only downside was my son was little disappointed that he got two of the same thing that just looked like a block of wood to him. (He’s 10). We will be buying more because he now wants to get something “better”.
