Q: Can i get a picture of a whole coin? the usb microscope i have now will only take 2/3 a pic of a penny.

Yes. The scope may also be mounted in a variety of ways to achieve the appropriate distance needed to view the item in it's entirety. I use a camera tripod when needed.

Q: I have a question about the picture, if you use lights say on a coin, do you lose color?

You shouldn't. There might be a slight shift, but I believe you can correct for it. We have used a few coins and they looked amazing! The light isn't harsh and is diffused well enough that it is even.
