The Path of True Love was Never Straighter
I have a Pembroke Corgi (mix) now. Adopted a couple of years ago. Sweet little thing. My couch is low; too low for my comfort but the perfect height for a "low rider", long backed dog to get up and down from without causing any physical harm. But the bed is a different matter. Now, I want it understood that I set boundaries with my dog. My dog has her own bed (and she has created two more sites that are her beds). My dog is NOT allowed on MY bed. Simple. Stay down. This is NOT your bed. And the reason is that the top of the bed is very far from the floor. A Pembroke Corgi is an athletic dog and can jump UP on things easily enough but what about jumping DOWN? Simply put, Corgis have no concept of size. So, we would turn in for the night and when I was safely sound asleep, the dog would jump up on the bed and sack out. I'd wake up in the morning and the dog, sensing my waking, would jump down - about 3 feet to the floor - and rush into her bed. I tried explaining to her that she should NOT do that. Do NOT jump off the bed. If she finds herself "stuck" on the bed first thing in the morning, don't jump down; I'll help her down. I'll place her on the floor. But it was like she didn't understand English or something. She kept jumping down. <sigh> OK. New plan. I had a small stair set from a previous dog and a previous sofa. As before, the dog could jump UP on the sofa, but I didn't want him to jump down, so I got the stairs. And he used the stairs half the time: going up. Never going down. <sigh> I tried to teach him to use the stairs to get down, but he never really liked them and, oddly enough, he eventually just stopped getting on the sofa at all. OK. Problem solved! So, with this new dog/ new target, I recycled the old stairs for use on the bed. If she is going to get up on the bed, anyway, let's get her down safely. I taught her to use the stairs. And she used them any time I was watching but never any other time - like when I was waking up. And she never liked descending the stairs. That was very uncomfortable/ unsure for her. And then I saw these stairs on Amazon. Well .... something about a fool and money but I can't remember the rest ... so, I bought one. AND IT WORKS GREAT!!! The dog uses the stars exclusively now; up AND down! Foam based so there are no sharp edges to contend with. The UPWARD, scallop shaped stair design has no stair "drop" so it is less visually intimidating for the beast. She uses it always. Up and Down. I can't say enough good about these stairs! .... I would like to have boundaries back but ... oh well. She's an adopted, old dog. She deserves a cushy life now, I guess. But, yeah, get this stair set. You'll (probably) like them. And your dog will, too.

Great pet stairs for small dogs
These ROMROL dog stairs are exactly what my pup needed to get on and off the bed safely. The foam is supportive but soft enough to be easy on her joints, and it expanded to full size within a day. The fabric cover is non-slip and easy to clean, which is a huge plus with pets. The 3-step height is perfect for beds or couches, and the extra-wide design gives my dog the confidence to go up and down without hesitation. It also looks nice in the room—modern and neutral enough to blend in.Highly recommended for small dogs or older pets that need a little help climbing!

As Described but Not Sturdy
Product came as described. Photos are taken immediately after opening the package so I still need to wait 24 hrs to see the full effect. Only giving 4 stars because the stairs are not very sturdy. I inserted cardboard on the bottom and horizontal sides to add support, which made it easier for my 13 year old pug to use them. She is still not very confident but is able to use them with ease when treats are involved. She just needs to practice how to use them. I might figure out a way to anchor them to my bed so it doesn’t topple over but for now I’ll just support it against my night stand.

niceee
The Romrol Dog Stairs Ramp for Beds and Couches is a fantastic product designed to make it easier for pets, especially small dogs and cats, to access higher places like beds and couches. With its 3-tier design and 15-inch height, it’s perfectly sized for smaller pets that may have difficulty jumping or climbing. One of the standout features of this product is its extra-wide steps, providing more surface area for your pet to comfortably navigate. The durable non-slip waterproof fabric cover is another big plus, offering great traction to prevent accidents and ensuring the stairs stay clean and dry, even if your pet has accidents or muddy paws. The ramp’s construction is solid, and it’s lightweight enough to be moved around easily, making it convenient for indoor use. The steps are gentle on your pet's joints, especially for older dogs or cats, which is important for their overall health. Plus, the soft fabric cover adds an extra layer of comfort for pets as they climb up and down.Overall, the Romrol Dog Stairs Ramp is a well-designed, functional solution for pets who need a little assistance getting onto furniture. It provides a safe, comfortable, and non-slip path for your furry friend, and it looks great in any home. Highly recommend it for pet owners with small to medium-sized pets.

Great for small dogs or dogs with leg issues
Best purchase for my fur baby and my peace of mind lol I have a small dog. Every time he wanted to get on and off the bed he would cry for me to pick him up. Jumping up and down was hurting his legs. It’s light weight and doesn’t move from where you place it. He loves running up and down the stairs with ease. It took some getting used to at first he was scared but now he loves it. He even sit in the middle sometimes. The grey matches my room decorations perfectly. It’s also comfortable. I’m going to purchase one for my mom’s apartment for when he visit her.

Should Have Read Reviews Better
As you can see from the picture- it doesn’t expand and fit the cover. My 8 year old chihuahua was afraid to walk up the ramp. After much coaching I got him to walk up the ramp but because the top never has expanded into the cover, he was afraid to complete the last step onto the couch. I almost cried. I love him so much and all I wanted to do was to buy something to help him - not scare him. It upsets me that Amazon would allow lousy products to be sold on their amazing site.I stuffed and folded a blanket at the top of the ramp so it can be used. I hate the look with the blanket, so I will be looking for a good ramp to replace this one. Lesson to be learned here is READ and RE-READ the reviews.
