Great product. Oil the post, don't overtighten the seat post clamp
1.3.2024 Greasing the spring didn't really help. Oiled around the shock, and loosened the tube bolt a bit. The clamp on my bike created pressure on the down tube, making the seat post stick. Loosened the bolt a tad, moved the seat a bit higher, works like a charm. Worth every penny.

My e-bike now feels like a luxury vehicle
I have a 26" fat tire dual motor, dual suspension e-bike. I upgraded the seat and still found it to be a little tough on my tailbone when riding over rough terrain. I decided to invest in getting this suspension seat post and BOY does it make a difference!First of all, I went with this one because it came with the spacers. I was too lazy to go in the basement and measure the seat post on the bike so this worked out fine. It was easy to install with one of the included spacers.While it doesn't mention it anywhere on the ad listing or the instructions, the suspension tension does seem to be adjustable by turning the screw in the bottom of the seat post. I was able to get it just right where I wasn't bouncing up and down every time i pedaled, but was still able to enjoy a smooth ride.One thing that takes some getting used to is the slight wobble that has now been introduced with this seat post. It makes it feel like the seat post is a little loose as it can shift from right to left by like 1/8th of an inch or so. I guess that's to be expected when you have a seat post that now has movable parts instead of being solid. Again it takes some getting used to but at the end of the day I actually prefer it because it makes the seat shift somewhat in favor of your pushing leg which (to me) makes it a bit more comfortable. But initially it did make me think something was wrong or that my seat was loose.Overall I'm glad I got this seat post as it has really turned around my biking experience. I can now sit comfortably riding over trails and city streets with speed bumps and potholes. I'd definitely recommend it and am actually going to order another one for my guest bike.

Once I get the saddle level and tighten the Alan bolts, I can ride for about five minutes and the Alan bolt loosen up. That’s a very frustrating and I have tightened them as far as I can tighten.

Totally worth buying if you're looking for a suspension seat post. Their shims are an awesome extra to help with fit.
