Good pre-workout boost
I decided to try this pure L-Citrulline powder as part of my pre-workout routine, and I’ve been impressed with the results. It’s additive-free and has 99.87% purity, which means I’m getting the real deal with no unnecessary fillers. I mix it with water, and it dissolves smoothly - no grittiness, which is great. Since adding it to my mornings, I’ve noticed a noticeable improvement in my endurance during longer sets, though it’s more of a steady, reliable boost than a dramatic effect. The taste is neutral, which isn’t a problem for me since the results speak for themselves. On the whole, it’s a good addition to my workout, especially for anyone looking for a pure performance. It's not the cheapest option, but it appears to be fairly priced compared to other alternatives. Plus, the 1kg pack size should last quite a while.

Amplify your performance, naturally.
L-citrulline has garnered attention within the fitness community, particularly among those engaged in weight training. Here's a breakdown of its benefits and the research supporting them: Key Benefits and Research:Increased Nitric Oxide Production:L-citrulline is a precursor to L-arginine, which, in turn, is a precursor to nitric oxide (NO). NO plays a crucial role in vasodilation, the widening of blood vessels. This improved blood flow can enhance the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to working muscles during exercise. Research generally supports that L-citrulline supplementation does increase nitric oxide levels. Enhanced Exercise Performance:Studies have indicated that L-citrulline supplementation may lead to increased muscular endurance, allowing for more repetitions and sets during weight training. There is evidence of L-citrulline malate helping to reduce muscle soreness after exercise. Research regarding L-citrulline effects on aerobic exercise produce less solid result.Reduced Muscle Fatigue:By improving blood flow and reducing the accumulation of metabolic byproducts like lactate, L-citrulline may help delay muscle fatigue. The reduction of lactate within the muscle helps extend the time that the muscle can perform under heavy strain.Research Considerations:It's important to note that studies often vary in their methodologies and dosages. Many studies are performed using Citrulline malate, a form of citrulline bound with malic acid, which could change results. Therefore be mindful of what form of citrulline a study is conducted with. While promising, further research is ongoing to fully understand the effects of L-citrulline on weight training performance.LifeLab Supplements Pure L-Citrulline Powder:The product emphasises its high purity (99.87%), which is a positive attribute for those seeking a clean and effective supplement. The absence of additives is also desirable, as it minimises the risk of unwanted ingredients. It's a powder, which allows for adjustable dosing. In summary:L-citrulline shows promise as a pre-workout supplement for weight training, primarily due to its ability to increase nitric oxide production and improve blood flow. While research is ongoing, existing studies suggest potential benefits for muscular endurance and reduced muscle fatigue.

A Pre-Workout Boost
I’ve tried a fair few pre-workout powders in my time, but this LifeLab L-Citrulline Powder is definitely one of the better ones. The purity is impressive—99.87% with no fillers or weird additives. It’s as clean as a whistle, which is exactly what I wanted for my training.I started adding it to my morning routine before hitting the gym, and I’ve noticed a solid boost in my endurance. No dramatic, over-the-top effects, just steady and reliable. I mixed it with water, and it dissolves easily, no gritty texture, so no complaints there. I did try it with fruit juice, but I found that water works best for me.The only thing I’d mention is the taste—it’s not exactly a flavour explosion. But hey, when it works this well, I’m not complaining. If you’re after a pure, no-nonsense L-Citrulline, this is a solid choice. It’s definitely helped me with those longer sets, and I can see why it's a favourite for athletes. All in all, it’s a good replacement for some of the more over-the-top pre-workouts out there.Definitely worth the money, and I’m sticking with it!

BEWARE!
After having had Dr's Best which tasted sweet, then Best Natural's, I was able compare taste with those. This I tasted and after a couple of minutes it left a nasty acrid taste in my mouth which stayed after brushing my teeth!! I chucked the lot in the bin.

Great Product, But Packaging Needs Improvement
LifeLab Supplements’ Pure L-Citrulline Powder is an excellent product that delivers on its promises. The 99.87% purity is impressive, and I’ve noticed a significant boost in my workout performance since I started using it. It mixes well with water or my pre-workout shake, and the fact that it’s additive-free is a huge plus for me.The 1kg size is fantastic value for money, and it’s lasted me a long time. However, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The bag isn’t resealable, which makes it inconvenient to store and can lead to spills or messes. I ended up transferring it to an airtight container, which solved the issue but added an extra step.Despite the packaging flaw, the product itself is top-notch and has become a staple in my fitness routine. If the brand improves the packaging, this would easily be a 5-star product. Highly recommend for athletes and bodybuilders looking for a clean, effective performance booster.
