This thing is solidly built. It takes some trial and error to set up. I need it for hinge cutouts. Once it was all set up and tested on an old door I simply undo the knobs. Line in up on new door. Tighten knobs. Route it out. Takes seconds. And if you router is set up for the same hinges on multiple doors you have no need to adjust anything again. It’s great.

The guides, don't hold the insert plates square, as there is too much play in them.

Jig works fine but it takes an absolute age to set up. Asked for instructions got sent a video that showed someone routing not how to set up. I think if you are intending to rout more than 1 item by additional jigs

Why did you choose this product over others?:Seems sturdy enough but zero instructions supplied and i don't think my router will fit it, are these purely for small palm routers? No idea, no instructions, it will have to go back..

I tried the jig today and it works perfectly well. A little fiddly to setup and on the whole to jig out the hinges on doors it a doddle. It cannot be used on the lining. You also need a long router bit which are readily available
