Decent so far
6/6/22 - initial review 1st use:Let’s remember this is a 3.5 lb anchor.Tried it out this last weekend and it did pretty good. I’ll try to update and show what the salt eats up after some use.Pros:Foldable and packs away nicely.Light enough to not notice it in the back of a sit on top kayak.Once pushed into the sand halfway it was more than capable to keep the kayak anchored even with a person+gear in it.After an hour, it had not drifted more than 2 inches with moderate chop and current. Comes with plenty of rope as anchors normally do better the more rope you let out/less angle.Cons:Design is more like a grappling hook and not like a modern boat anchor meaning it’s not going to secure or bury itself into the sand the more you pull on it so you might have to step on it or push it into the sand. Seems like a fair trade off for being foldable and 3.5lbs.

Works great
Value for money

Bigger than I realized, will need to make more user friendly.
This grapnel anchor is really overkill for a kayak/paddle board unless you are in some serious current. Solid materials and works very well. Unless you only use for emergencies, you will likely need to make some sort of spool to hold the anchor line. It can get tangled quite easily.Good for the money.

It’s not a Jart, but it could be
Oh, man. I wish I had this at the last protest! It’s heavy, beefy, but with a flick of the wrist, the tines expand and you can toss this sucker like you were playing Jarts against your cousin that broke your Tie-Fighter toy when you were 8! 40’ rope is adequate for cousins, but I’m using it for a fishing kayak. The beaner clip is nice, and the bag it comes in fits perfectly when not in “tossing it at your cousin” mode. It’s a good fit on my kayak, tucks in perfectly. Warn your cousin you took Jarts up a notch.

BEST MARINE ANCHOR KIT
I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ON ANCHOR KITS. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PRICE AND THE QUALITY LOOKS VERY GOOD. GOOD ROPE AND FLOAT AND THE COATING ON THE ANCHOR LOOKS GREAT. GLAD I WENT WITH THIS PURCHASE.

Best Purchase!
this anchor is amazing and I am so happy I got it for my paddle board. It holds my board with me on it firmly in place (~220lbs). It will hold more people you will just slowly move with the current/ wind but definitely not as fast as you would w/o the anchor. I had probably 500 lbs on it at one point and we moved slowly through the lake we were on but it still did a great job. I also added paracord onto it for added length but the provided length is great! If you need a good anchor look no further.

Very well built
Perfect for my fiancée and I to anchor on our inflatable paddle boards right off shore! Nice weight and long rope.

Decent but buy a rope too
The rope is very low quality and I wouldn’t trust it at all. Everything else is as good as I expected though so I just replaced the rope with a trusted brand and now I’ll feel safe walking away from it. The bag is cushioned so I was pleasantly surprised by this. I think the clip will be good for my ski in calm water but I wouldn’t trust it with anything larger and if it gets choppy I’ll be using a secondary just in case. Would’ve given more stars if they had a better quality rope and stronger clip.
