having used other sources of ivermectin for many years on my guinea pigs and rabbit, changing to this was profound. many reasons including that at 1% (Vetinary strength) and no extra dilutants just one single drop behind each ear is all that is required. easy, quick and clean.Now I need to add an experience I hope no-one else will have. One of my GPs had hay mites, which Ivermectin can eradicate, but the recommended interval is every 4 weeks. My vet said that was protection and I could do it every week, this still did not help. In the description of this product it said that the eggs hatch in 4 days. I switched to every 4 days and he was completely clear in 2 weeks. So, not only a brilliant product but also from a knowledgeable company offering sound advice. Very highly recommended.

Great stuff, it worked

My small gerbil called forest , lives alone . Developed an itch on his back and caused a raised area. I regular feed the birds , and to act on the air of caution , I tried this treatment before the vets . It worked . The raised area has gone , he fas stopped scratching . He is happier in himself . Excellent. No smell. Good value for money . Nice size bottle .

After reading the reviews, I wanted to give it a try as it seemed that the product was not too strong. Also, taking a nocturnal animal to the vet is not the easiest thing…After a few days from the application, the bold patches on my hamster stopped growing.After a week, with the second application, I saw tiny hair growing back! My hamster was already more active and stopped the excessive scratching and grooming.Now, after a month I have my hamster back to normal. I am very pleased with this product and I would definitely recommend it.

Expensive but worth it! I've done all sorts to get rid of the scaley leg mites on my favourite hen, Thelma. She came in awful condition and this has worked wonders for her! Very happy and highly recommend!

As this product states that it is suitable for ‘large birds’ and ‘any bird over 500g’ and Naqua’s web site recommends using this product for poultry on their web site, I used these drops as directed on my pet turkey. The instructions are 1 drop to 500g of body weight, therefore I used 10 drops, given that my turkey is 5kg. It is advised to dose once a week for a period of three weeks. However, following her final dose, my bird became extremely ill. She became lethargic, could not carry her head, she lost all coordination and the ability to stand, her breathing was laboured, she experienced seizures, would not eat and in her last moments vomited profusely, causing her to aspirate and pass away. Now I have researched this drug more fully, I can see that the doseages suggested by Naqua are far too high and that what my girl was experiencing were the effects of toxicity and overdose. I cannot understand why Naqua does not have any information anywhere detailing the risks of toxicity and death when using this product and why they are recommending such high doses which are evidently toxic to birds?? Please don’t make the same mistake I did in using this product.
