I used the standard supermarket 'large-sized' eggs, poked the holes, filled the water between 'medium' and 'hard', a tad in favor of the 'hard' side, pressed the button, and then waited for my eggs.At the end there was a brownish substance on the element, so I do recommend cleaning it with soapy water before its first use.I bought it for hard-boiled eggs, they produced hard-boiled eggs, what else can I say?Would recommend!
