I was never able to get it to work. The local computer shop tech couldnt either

I bought this as a replacement for a weBoost home 301211 antenna. At the time that antenna was out of stock.At the time I thought my weBoost antenna was damaged. Once I got this, I realized it was not so I got to test it side-by-side with the weBoost.As far as performance, I thought both antennas were very very similar. This is based on doing both a field test with the phone and reading the decibel readings. And also doing a speed test to see the data transfer rates.A difference is the cable on this Antenna is shorter and stiffer. For my application that was fine , not a problem.There is the issue where the indoor antenna can set up a feedback loop that interferes with the booster. My impression was that possibly this antenna was slightly more directional, and therefore was less inclined to create that feed back interference.As compared to the weBoost, this antenna has some better mounting options, a screwed on base. That was better for my application.Bottom line I didn’t really need to keep this antenna since evidently my old weBoost was OK. But I kept This antenna anyway and I’m happy with it
