ROYAL CANINVeterinary Diet Cat Food Urinary Moderate Calorie 6 Kg

Bought this food following recommendation from Vet as my cat gets cystitis and struvite crystals in his bladder.He likes the dry food and we have had no sickness since I started buying it 5 months ago.The food is pricey at the vets but this price is fab and is not really much more than the purina munchies I used to buy from the supermarket.The 6kg bag is huge and has lasted about four months for one big cat.Note- The vet also recommended Cystophan tablets, which are a supplement. In my experience a capsule sprinkled on this food once or twice a week teams up well and is keeping him cystitis free!

This is the second bag of urinary care, mod calorie cat food. Our cat was suffering from cystitis (stones in her bladder, blood in her pee), and we had to bring her to the vet on a number of occasions (urine samples, ultrasound tests). The vet recommended the urinary care food for her, and since she was overweight, we decided on the moderate calorie one. Ever since she's been on this diet, she has lost weight, and has not had any problems with her bladder! Overall, we are very pleased with the results of her being on this diet. She is back to her old self, and she is much more relaxed and happy :)

I usually get the full fat version of this food for my 13 yr old cat following crystal build up and a very poorly cat. He has however as he has got older become more reluctant to leave the house and developed a rather large tummy! As a result I have tried the low cal version...just like his mum, he much prefers the full fat food but still happy to eat it up.The Royal Canin products are great quality and whilst more expensive than wet food, much better for the pet and leave no odour in your house. Happy cat!

Still can't believe the size of this bag it's huge! I'm loving the price as I would normally pay the same at the vets for half the size. I ordered on a Friday afternoon and it was here by Monday,can't believe that either,as I have two cats and only one of them needs the food and the other thinks she is missing something and eats it if you aren't looking it made sense to get more just in case the needy one ran out,this is the perfect solution,what a bargain and it's definitely the same as I get from the vets,will definitely be ordering again and would highly reccommend.

Awesome food. I've been buying this (in the normal calorie version) since my cat started having urinary problems and this is the perfect chow for him. Every single time he had any urinary problems again, he was on a different brand. Coincidence or not, I'll stick to this as long as I can afford it. I'm now trying this moderate calorie version because he god really fat with some changes in our routine and he likes its flavour exactly as much as the normal one.

My cat was rushed in for emergency surgery after having complete urinary block. we was advised to use this food as he is a little over weight and needs to eat this to stop the urinary problem. My cat has always been a fussy eater and struggled to get him on to one food. Well this is fab! he loves it, eats it no problems.can highly recommend this produce and a great price on the subscribe and save.

Well packaged, arrives on time. Perfect for a fussy cat who is prone to being on the tubby side and has a history of crystals in his urine

Very good product as we have a stressy cat that tends to get bladder problems, all 3 of my cats like this food and have not gained too much weight. Little expensive but is a good quality food that does its job, suppose it works out cheaper than vet bills!!
