Barbie Doll & Accessories, Make & Sell Boutique Playset with Display Rack, Create Foil Designs

I got this as a gift and my daughter loved it!

What a fun Barbie playset I found on sale for around $14 (what a deal!). This set includes a doll, boutique display and a screenprint work area. The doll is a standard 11.5" Barbie with fair skin, brown eyes, and long brown hair. The hair is slightly uneven at the back and has a crease from the packaging. She features flat feet, one straight arm and one bent arm, with movement limited to the shoulders, hips and neck. The doll wears a one-piece dress and white sneakers. The dress is detailed with the name tag, waist pack and denim jumper with buttons. It fastens at the back with non-snag velcro. The plastic boutique display includes two hangers, two tank tops, a tennis visor, a baseball cap, a cash register, a credit card, and three plastic bags. The display can accommodate two hangers per peg and has storage space under the cash register stand. The screenprint work area has a press on a table and includes three plastic paint brushes, a squeegee, 46 stickers and five foil strips (silver pink, blue and gold). To "screenprint" tops, place the top in the press, add a sticker, rub the squeegee over the top, apply foil, rub the squeegee over the top again, and viola! A cute shirt is created. For the bags, transfer the "screenprint" off the shirt onto the bag. Once it's transferred to the bag it can't be reused because it turns into a big mess when pulling it off. This set provides great value and endless fun for kids. It would be nice if additional stickers and foil could be purchased for extended playtime as it only took about a day to use them up.

My daughter played with this all Christmas morning adding designs to her various Barbie clothes. It's a little tricky to apply the sticker but the final results are really cute!

The outfit is one single piece of cloth, which made me sad, but I realize that it is easier for kids to change her clothes when there are less pieces with fewer fine pieces. The outfits get changed very often, so this helps with the durability. The doll itself is also very simple. I'm not a fan of the new doll mold. The doll has a face shape that is right with the time, but I miss the volume in the hair and the curvier body of the older mold.The included furniture is very nice. It is a complete shop and customizing the clothes is very easy. This is an excellent, durable toy for younger kids. It can be played with over and over. I added more clothes and it just expanded even further.
