Always difficult to critique vitamins and supplements.
I bought these after reading that they "helped" arthritis. Although I am not a serious case of arthritis, I didn't notice any improvement. They were very expensive so I never ordered any more as I take lots of different supplements. I seem to recall they were a capsule so needed a big gulp of liquid to get down.It is impossible to know whether this kind of thing does any good as you don't know what condition you would have been in if you had NOT taken them! Very like skin moisturisers, anti-ageing products etc., you don't know what you would have looked like if you hadn't used the product !

Not GMP produced but an interesting supplement for joint pain
The Healthy Origins, Natural Eggshell Membrane arrives in a recyclable (HDPE-2) plastic container.Printed on the container is the expiry date of 3/25, and the ingredients (which are a combination of eggshell membrane and bulking plus anti-caking agents.There was no printed confirmation that this product is manufactured to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) which is important for product quality.There are 60x500mg capsules - so two months supply.Eggshell membranes contain glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), significant amounts of hyaluronic acid and other products. There have been both animal and studies in humans using eggshell membrane focused mainly on joint pain and connective tissue disease. This includes at least one randomised placebo-controlled clinical study which did show some efficacy after 60 days at 500mg/d. I am not saying that this study was ideal but for some, this may be a positive treatment, especially for osteoarthritic joint pain.The price point of £34.00 is high compared to other similar products available on Amazon.Overall an interesting supplement. I prefer GMP-manufactured products but I will try this and update the review if I notice efficacy.
