Good aftermarket replacement
I’ve needed a new battery in my 2018 MacBook Pro for a while I finally decided to pull the trigger. I knew it wasn’t gonna be a completely easy task removing the old battery. But I wasn’t expecting to have to pull out half of the logic board in order to get the battery to release. My battery was so swollen. It was twice the height when lined up to the aftermarket battery. removal took forever installation of the new was quick and simple. I wasn’t expecting brand new from factory battery levels, but I was definitely happy. Once I powered up the MacBook without charging it at 70%. Charge of the MacBook been using it ever since and charging it up intermittently. All in all I’ll definitely buy from this company if I ever need a battery again for a MacBook.

Macbook Pro 2019 died after NVRAM reset (found that the ICs are different from original)
I replaced the original battery on my macbook pro 2019 and it worked in the beggining, but I realized that the Service Recommended message was still showing up on OSX. So I tried to do a NVRAM reset and after that my macbook died. It's not powering up anymore, no signal of life :( I am really frustrated. It briked my macbook. I don't know why. Probably the motherboard is not recognizing as a new original battery? Any thoughts? I need to fix it asap. Anyone had similar issues? Thank you.Update: I finally found the root cause. The integrated circuit in the new battery does not match the one in my original battery. For some reason, I won't turn on. I am returning the battery. Maybe I was just unlucky as I see many people getting it to work. The customer support is very good so I'm giving 4 stars, as they could have warned about this possibility in the description.Picture: The upper connector is the seller's battery, the bottom is the Apple original battery. You can see that in the seller's it has 4 different smaller ICs, while on Apple's is has only one bigger IC. For some reason, they're not compatible. Please check yours before buying.

Could have used some solvent
I figured I would pop in a new battery, but this is actually a very complex install with a lot of tiny screws you need to remove. You may want to consider taking it to the shop instead. The kit was missing a flat plastic card and solvent which you’ll probably need to pry the battery out. Since I didn’t have this I used some iso alcohol, my pocket knife and an old credit card, but this was definitely the worst part. Finger nail polish remover (acetone) would work better. I spent an hour peeling adhesive off before installing the new battery. It came with 4 unlabeled screwdrivers but I believe a fifth was needed (a T8 torx) in order to fully remove the main board. I didn’t not receive instructions but there are a few resources like ifixit and YouTube you’ll want to review anyhow. My advice is not to remove the entire main board like ifixit says to do, it is about 60 steps not including reassembly and after 30 I became concerned I wouldn’t be able to reassemble it. Instead, just remove enough screws so that you can bend the main board upward a few mm where the battery board sits, so that you can slip the new battery ribbon and battery board into place, and you can get this done in a couple hours, that’s what I did and it’s fine. Be very careful to seat the battery correctly as the adhesive is semi permanent.Battery is fine, seems to work as good as new. I survived the install but it was a real challenge. I definitely wouldn’t consider this an “easy” install, and I’m a software engineer, I’ve worked with PCs all my life.

Seemed great till it wasn’t.
Product looked different than what was pictured in the listing, but not necessarily a dealbreaker. The battery fit exactly the way it should be, and ultimately was a success. Seems like a great deal to give my old MacBook some extra life. Unfortunately, after about two hours, my computer randomly shut off and is no longer functioning. I tested the voltage on the battery as well as all my logic board and it looks like it shot my logic board as well as having uneven current on the battery contacts. So now my options are to pay Apple more than what my computer is worth to fix my computer, or purchase a new logic board, which is still more than what my computer is worth. Before I connected the battery, I quadruple checked every connection and made sure nothing was disconnected or out of the ordinary. Sadly, this battery killed my computer. On the bright side for the two hours, I used it. It seemed great!

Works
This battery works fine so far. It was a relatively easy install. The box had everything in it I could possibly need. The computer is running well, and I've not noticed any major departure in battery time.
