Panasonic RF-D10EG-W Digital Radio (DAB+/FM Tuner, Mains and Battery Operated) White

Have had this for three months now. Arrived promptly and was packaged well. Product design is good. It is compact and fits easily at the side of the bed. Have seen other reviews complaining about the slightly convoluted process for setting the sleep function but it only takes seconds. Sound quality is excellent and general operation is simple, Presets work well as do all other functions that I've used so far. Overall a good value purchase.

Bought this to replace a Sony portable on its last legs. Turned out to be absolutely brilliant, not least because my technophobe wife is able to use it so easily. Once it is tuned-in to the 20 possible stations (10 on FM, 10 on DAB) then any elderly fumbling person would be able to use it.Reception perfect in a part of the house where the Sony would crackle occasionally, and the sound quality and possible volumes are excellent for a small radio.

This is a very well built device and I think it is good value for money. It has good reception and with DAB+ you will not be short on exciting content to listen to. It is also quite powerful for its size. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is a strange background hissing noise that seem to be there and can ruin the listening experience at low volume. This is not a problem when listening at medium to high volume. But overall a very good radio and good value.

I purchased this radio for my mum, as the one she had in the kitchen would never have a good reception. In fact, we have tried about 5 radios in the kitchen and all have suffered with interference of some kind or another --- But this is NOT the case with this radio. My mum loves it. It is very easy to program (essential with my mother being over 70) and the reception is 100% perfect. I know its fairly expensive, but its well worth the extra expense. A great buy!OMG update. ---> I purchased this radio in 2017 for just under £50 and two + years later its being sold for nearly £90!!!! What the hell????.................

This is an OK radio which we use in our kitchen. The reception, tone and volume are acceptable. The big disappointment is that, after exactly two years, the display has gone completely blank, so it's not easy to tell which channel we're on or which station we're listening to. For that reason alone, we could not recommend. We expected better from this manufacturer.

This radio turned out to be even better than I had hoped. It is well built, solid and a nice size. It runs on batteries or the mains via a standard electrical port (why cant all radios connect like this instead of having to buy a special transformer). What it doesn't make clear in the description is that you have ten presets on DAB and a further ten presets on FM. When connected to the electrical supply the clear information screen shows the time and date whilst on standby In battery mode it shows nothing when switched off and so doesn't waste the batteries. When switched on it shows the usual selection of information depending on what you have chosen on the menu. My only tiny criticism is that the volume control goes up in steps instead of being completely smooth. One step can be too high while the next step can be too low. I have never liked this system which you find on some radios. All in all a really good medium sized radio which I would not hesitate to recommend.

I was looking for a replacement for an old DAB Radio which had deceased. This one seemed to fit the bill. It also has FM Waveband. Tuning and setting for presets was easy and the sound adjustment using the on-board equaliser likewise simple to operate. Great sound and perfect reception. Nice clear display and easy to select pre-sets. Very happy. Price was also best shown on the WWW

Instructions for tuning could be clearer.
