Fantastic product. It does everything I hoped it would!
My washing machine is sitting on a suspended floor. I have tried everything to stop it shaking the walls and moving across the floor when on a spin. I even pulled up the laminate flooring and screwed down 2 thick ply boards but nothing worked!I was sceptical about the Silent Feet but thought it was worth a go. Well they worked! The walls no longer shake and the machine no longer walks! :-)Although the machine itself still shakes, hardly any movement or vibrations pass through to the flooring. Which results in less damage to my home and peace and quiet. All I would suggest is that if your washing machine is underneath a counter top you should first measure the space you have above the machine. These pads will add a few inches of height, so make sure you have the space to spare.

Not suitable for front loaders. DO NOT BUY
Our Siemens washing machine was moved to a first floor bathroom in our Victorian terraced house. Previously it had been on a concrete floor. We were amazed at the amount of vibration it caused. After much research Silent Feet looked to be the answer. The main flaw is perhaps being an American product where most machines are top loaders. For a front loader the rubbery pads make the machine very unstable indeed - it looks as if a few wash cycles will shake the machine to pieces - not the stable machine we've been used to. I hope Silent Feet will refund us the money, they shouldn't really be on sale here.PS - the pads reduce the vibration to the floor slightly, but at the expense of shaking our washing machine to bits!

good but over-priced
bought these, i use them and they're effective, but i've since seen similar pads (by AEG for eg) that cost much less and therefore am feeling a bit ripped off...?

They really do reduce vibrations
Yes these are expensive compared to some other feet I looked at. However I took the plunge and bought some as I had moved my washing machine into an upstairs room on a wooden floor. Before installing them I could feel the spin cycle through my laptop keyboard when I was in the lounge downstairs and I had serious concerns about the structure of the bathroom floor. I actually did DIY and tried bracing the floor, but that didn't help much. After installation I hardly notice a full load spinning at 1400 rpm. I can see they work if I watch during a spin cycle. They isolate the washing machine from the floor and really dampen the vibration, stopping it being transmitted to the floor whilst securely holding the machine in position.I am very impressed with this product and have no regrets spending the extra money.Do note that they are quite thick, adding a couple of cm / 1" to the height of the machine.

Seem to work well
The feet arrived within a few days, so that was good. I tried them out with my new washing machine before moving it into its final position. They seemed to work very well. There was pretty much no vibration on a 1200 rpm spin, and seemingly little noise when washing or spinning. The washing machine stands on carpet tiles. However, I cannot use the feet. It is fairly common in the UK for a washing machine to be situation under a work-top in the kitchen. As such space is tight. The feet are about 2.4cms high, with a lip of about 4mm. So they raise the washing machine up by about 2cms. That was too much for my place. I may have been able to squeeze the machine in place with about a millimetre of clearance from the worktop, but decided that if the machine moved at all then it would start hitting the work-top and may well damage it.If I had more space, and especially for completely free-standing machines, I would have no hesitation in using the feet.

Not as expected
I have a new Samsung VRT washer situated under the kitchen counter, in a 100 years old building. The floor is tiled on old terrazzo, and everything 'sits' on wooden beams. Naturally, washing machine spin cycle makes everything vibrate (the hole floor plate) which can not be good for the construction. I was first disappointed with my new and pricy Samsung machine equipped wit vibration reduction technology (VRT), according to reviews quite good in situations like mine. It turned out the machine was producing the same amount of vibration to the floor as my previous 7-years old Whirlpool... So I decided to by the best and the most expensive anti vibration pads - 'Silent Feet', hoping to solve the problem. Installation was a bit troublesome because the machine is under the counter, between the wall and dishwasher, but this was expected. Machine started the spin cycle and started shaking tremendously in every direction, occasional hitting the counter bottom and the wall. And the vibration of the floor was worse! It is not possible to completely eliminate vibrations in old houses with wooden beam construction, but I was hoping for some improvement. The fact is that these pads might work with concrete floors, but they also reduce machine stability, so it 'dances' around, and that can put the drum out of balance during spin cycle... I was not expectation miracle, but hoping for some improvement. I guess it doesn't work on tiled terrazzo wooden beam floors!

We just love this. We have a 1600 speed front loader ...
First review I have written.Do not doubt this product. They absolutely positively definitely reduce vibration and movement in a front loading washing machine. We just love this. We have a 1600 speed front loader on a moderately springy floor. Vibration regularly transferred through pipe work etc and rattled radiators around the ground floor. The machine itself was prone to taking a walk also, and needed corralling back to its home space every month or so.When I put the feet on all of the problems stopped. No rattles, no movement. It's quite mesmerising to watch the machine on full spin now. It just doesn't move.Highly recommended, and worth every penny.
