High Quality
This writing board is definitely made from high quality materials with a great design. We purchased this for our toddler who is in occupational therapy program and it makes teaching him how to hold different objects to paint or draw a snap. The paper is held in securely and its size is generous enough to let him draw off the paper and not make a big mess. It folds flat neatly for storage and can be configured into multiple positions depending on the activity. I am sure we will be using it for years.

Too heavy, and the angle is too low. Clip won't hold a notebook. Impractical all around.
This did not work for me. The angle is too low, its heavy. I would need it to be higher when set on a table. It doesn't hold a notebook well either.I still use it sometimes, it's better than nothing. But I wouldn't recommend this for neck strain or neck problems. It's also too expensive and heavy.

Bought two...
I originally bought this for my girls so they can use it while doing homework. I've read slant boards are ideal for children as it encourages correct positioning of the wrist and hand for writing. Anyway, my mom came for a visit and started using it while on her Ipad and doing crossword puzzles. She expressed how much it helped her hand from getting uncomfortable (she has arthritis). So I ended up buying her one too and she quickly started using it.

A lifesaver for someone with neck problems!
This is a well-made and sturdy product. It has helped me so much since last November because I'm a graduate student and I'm required to do lots of reading and writing assignments. Chronic neck problems and crippling migraines always interfered with my studying. Using the slant board helps me rest and relieve my neck because I don't have to bend down to look at a flat surface. I fold it flat, put it in my backpack and take it to class with me! Thanks so much for a brilliantly designed and executed device.

great for preventing neck strain
I got this on the recommendation of my daughter's doctor. She has severe whiplash and a concussion, and looking down to do anything is bad for her neck, so he suggested she get a wedge. I started looking into them, and the wedge pillows wouldn't work because they are too soft to write on, and I then found this one. She can clip her books to it so she can read, and clip her papers and notebooks to it so she can write, all without anything slipping. She also puts it on her lap and puts her laptop on it while she's lying down. A great purchase. very sturdy.

I am learning creative writing techniques & this works great when sitting on the couch
I am learning creative writing techniques & this works great when sitting on the couch. The clip on top is ideal for holding paper while tracing or sketching. A little heavier than I wanted but would still highly recommend.

Great slant board
This slant board is sturdy and works great! My son has issues writing and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something that wouldn't last.

A must for handwritten math problems
This works very well for working long physics problems. It basically does what you'd expect. It's handy if you've got a small desk, since you can store things underneath the writing surface when it's in use. If you set the velcro all the way to the back, it's actually not at the maximum height. To do that, you have to set it about an inch and a half back. It slides around a little out of the box, so you might want to put something underneath it to grip the table better. I use a non-slip rug pad for this, and it works perfectly. Depending on your posture, it may be awkward to write near the bottom of the page with this. To fix that, I lay the page half way over the top of the board and then continue writing on the bottom of the page.
