It works
I have been wanting to a switch box for a long time and not sure which one to get. This box really worked well and not a problem hooking the different components .

Little did I expect this - but wow!!!
Let's face it, when in the market for RCA cable switchers, one usually finds a variety of cheaper made models and it's not unusual to see the same model being marketed under different brands. This is often par for the course with these inexpensive Chinese branded models. In my case, I have 6 different DAC's that I use with my desktop PC, attached to a variety of speakers. Yes, I do online reviews and provide comments regarding performance characteristics of different pieces of equipment. So last week I began to look for a good 4-unit RCA Audio cable switcher. And mannnn, there were tons of them on Amazon - most were very cheap in price, while a few ranged between $100 and $200 USD. I was eventually eyeing one that cost close to $200, when I happened upon this GOHIFIAUDIO S1 switcher.I thought, "Hmnnnn, they want $70 USD for this thing (at the time of this writing - they've gone up since then)?" I was hesitant at first, mainly because it had no reviews, and also the thought (assumption) that any type of cable switcher will result in signal loss - especially with passive models (of which this model S1 is one). But being the guinea pig that I tend to be, I pulled the trigger and purchased it.When it arrived, I noticed that the box seemed heavy (a bit more than I expected). When I opened the box, I was dumbfounded (in a very, very good way) to see a solid brick of a switcher. Beautifully machined and exceptionally solid (thus the weight of the unit), you could see that this was not going to be no ordinary every-day switcher. The RCA inputs on the back were meticulously designed and constructed and durable and you knew right away that you were dealing with a higher end device. But how would it sound? I immediately connected several DAC's to this unit. By the way, for those not familiar with the term "DAC," it's short for Digital to Analog Converter which can make a world of difference with sound quality on the likes of a PC or a video system. When I selected switch #1 - which happened to have the iFI Zen DAC unit, I could not believe my ears. No signal loss or alteration at all - what you listened to is what you got. And the switching back and forth (between 4 units) is so smooth and high-end, that it will put a smile on your face. And no worrying about using the right power supply as this is a very basic passive unit, that was exceptionally crafted/machined. The moment you handle (pick up) and use this Model S1, you'll be hooked and then wonder why you haven't seen this thing before. So right now I have the following DAC's attached to this GOHIFIAUDIO S1 - those being the iFI Zen DAC, the Schliit Modi 3, the Micca OriGen2, the FX Audio DAC X6, and the Sabaj D3. Switching between them to do a budget DAC audio evaluation was effortless.Another question that folks often have with regards to the possibility of using an RCA audio switcher, is will thick cables (and bending them to connect to other units) result in the switcher being lifted up, or turned in a particular direction. This happens big time with thicker, less pliable cables. I can tell you that in my case, I have each DAC connected to the S1 switcher with a shorter 1 foot RCA cable and the only result was that the smaller DAC's had to be turned somewhat - but the S1 switcher was solid and stayed put!So folks, I'm just one reviewer, but my listening standards are high. I'm gratified to have found this particular Switcher on Amazon. This comes highly recommended! Caveat here - remember, reviews are subjective and all I can do being an audiophile is to call 'em as I see 'em. YMMV.....EDIT - Add-on comments as of 6-29-2020:I just wanted to add on here that I purchased a 2nd switcher due to the fact that the first one was so awesome. I have additional components (i.e. DAC's) that I needed to bring into my system, so I got another one. I'm telling you, this passive model is built quite well and just plain works - without any signal loss or alterations!!!!Since I purchased the first GOHIFIAUDIO S1, I also tried another switcher that was not passive - it had to use a power supply. It was a Chinese made product also, but it failed after two weeks (the right channel stopped working on the 2nd set of RCA inputs). So I had to return that one. That made me realize that you stick with what works best, and that's why I purchased another GOHIFIAUDO S1. The GOHIFIAUDIO S1 sets the standard in my book. And yes, I know it went up in price - like some $20 more - but hey, it is most certainly worth it as you get what you pay for.

This works exactly as advertised!
This works exactly as advertised! I'm not a high end audiophile, but using this switcher to add inputs for my bluetooth and ipod music to easily feed into the Aux port on my pioneer sx-750 receiver and then out to my Bose 901 speakers, i did not notice any difference in the quality of the signal or the audio output.

For older systems with not enough RCA Jacks on it.
Connecting 3 pieces of equipment into 1 RCA Input on Tube Amp.
