Good product and outstanding support!
I purchased this for use with a Macbook Pro (A1707, mid-2017 release of the 15" model) and a Dell Latitude 7480. When I plugged in the MBP, everything (video over USB-C Alt-Mode, power delivery over USB-C, and USB peripherals) worked except the wired gigabit ethernet port. According to the packaging the ethernet chipset is Realtek RTL8153, so I installed the OS X driver from Realtek and that resolved it. The Dell Latitude 7480 worked without any additional driver. Charging over USB-C is rated at 3A@20V, somewhat lower than the OEM chargers for both laptops but more than sufficient to keep the laptops running while charging the battery. I actually have a second monitor, but figured that I didn't want to deal with DisplayLink and wouldn't mind using a separate cable to hook up that monitor directly to the laptop, so I purchased this dock rather than the higher priced model that supports multiple monitors. I did run into one issue: the Dell U2713H monitor would not wake up (most of the time) after the MBP has turned it off after the idle timeout; the backlight actually came on, with the HDMI logo showing on the top left corner, and the MBP detected the presence of the monitor, but nothing showed up on the screen, the only ways to get the monitor out of that state were to re-seat either the HDMI cable or the power cord on the monitor. I tried multiple HDMI cables which produced the same results. This was monitor-specific, as my 15-year-old Sony worked perfectly when connected through the dock. Also the Latitude 7480 worked with this setup perfectly. I decided to swap the two monitor connections, letting the dock drive the Sony and the laptop drive the Dell U2713H directly. This worked perfectly with MBP, but to my surprise HDMI out from Latitude 7480 to HDMI in on U2713H didn't work at all: the laptop detected the monitor but nothing actually showed up on screen until I forced 1080i output from the Intel graphics utility. I had been in touch with Plugable support via email, and they offered to exchange the dock to see if the one I bought had a defect; but after finding out the monitor would not even work with Latitude 7480 via a straight HDMI to HDMI connection with no adapter or any third-party device in the middle, it became obvious to me that that something was strange with the monitor's HDMI input. Plugable's support department directed me to a different product that does not bring out the quirkiness of Dell U2713H. As someone who works in IT and deal with vendors daily, I must say this company values every sale it makes and goes above and beyond to support their products.

Great item for a good value.
I recently bought a new laptop that has 2 usb-c ports and only one regular usb port. I bought this item so that I could plug in items such as my external hard drive and keyboard/mouse, as well as connect my laptop to my widescreen monitor. One nice thing about this is that everything that I need plugs into the back, so that all the wires can drop easily off the back of my desk, and the front can be used for extra usb ports and headphone/microphone. It leaves my desk area very clean looking. The best thing about this is that it powers my laptop through the usb-c port while it's plugged in so that I don't even need an additional power cord to plug into the wall. I literally have one thing plugged into my laptop and that's it!

Works perfectly with my HP Spectre Folio! Charges the computer and runs all my peripherals!
Very easy set up. No set up at all, really! Just plug everything in and you're ready to go. I hooked up a monitor via HDMI, a wired keyboard, receiver for a bluetooth mouse, external SSD and a smart chip reader I use for my job into the USB outlets, speakers into the audio out and an ethernet cable. The Dock connects to the computer with the included usb-c cable. Everything worked perfectly right away. Any of the three outlets on the Folio will work, and also charge the computer while it's docked. I'm very happy I can just plug in ONE cable and turn my laptop into a desktop! Also, everything still works when you close the lid on the laptop.

Works with my 2022 MacBook pro
Solid performance with no glitches or idiosyncrasies noted so far.Pay close attention to the selection of ports, and make sure it fits your needs. For example, my MBP has a MagSafe power port, but I can’t use it with this dock because the sole USB-C port provides power to the MBP and also data, so it has to go to the MBP’s USB-C port and can’t use the mag safe port. Not a big deal for my configuration, but it might be for yours.

Display gets the shakes upon resuming
The media could not be loaded. This docking station works really well EXCEPT when the display shuts off and I resume ((such as waking up from sleep function) the display shakes until I unplug the USB c and plug it back in. I will try another brand. Using Windows 11.

My friends can't believe I have no complaints about this docking station (I'm a little critical)
I am so tired of spending hours getting things to work! I plugged this in and plugged my computer into it. No bulky AC adapter. I have used this for a second monitor, for the USB that controls my Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse and for several flash drives. I am very satisfied as to how easy this was to set up. I even plugged in my USB headset and it worked very well.In the office I have a wired keyboard and it works just fine.I bought the first one when I was working at home at the beginning of the pandemic. I think it's been a couple of years. Truth be told, I have dropped it a couple of times. No problem! I now have three of them - one for the office and a second for the home office and one for my husband's office.

Great for My Dell, Horrible for My HP ZBook
It's a nice, sleek little number. It has sufficient USB ports to support all my peripherals. ...or does it?If you plan on using two modern monitors without using a resource hog like DisplayLink, you might want to look for another docking station. Also, I recently upgraded my HP ZBook mobo, and now all things USB blow chunks at random and very frequently. I had to unplug all peripherals from it just so I could work.It works wonderfully on my Dell laptop, though! Linux and everything. No problems with it...well except for the fact that it takes 50% of my CPU to run my second monitor on DisplayLink, sooo...yeah.
