These are some tough socks they hold up well they stay up on your leg. I’ve worn them both in the winter and in the summer and they worked great for almost any season. My first pair are five years old and still going strong. I know the price is a bit much but they are 100% totally worth the price. You will not get a stronger more well-made sock. These are perfect boot socks, will keep your feet warm even if the socks are wet. Because Will has antimicrobial properties these socks don’t stink, even if you’ve been wearing them all day long or for a week I turn them inside out on the trail and hang them up and let them dry and they’re good to go fresh in the morning. I would highly recommend these socks, especially to campers hikers and backpackers, also people who have professions where they are outside in cold and wet weather

I now have four or five pairs of merino wool socks from Darn Tough. Got these over-the-calf extra cushion ones for either a colder hike or just for being super comfortable around the house on a cold day. Very pleased with these and my other Darn Tough socks. Merino wool is such an awesome material for socks. Comfortable, warm, keeps foot dry (not sweaty), and they stay clean so much better than cotton.

Liked the fit- true to size. Quality wool- not itchy or scratchy. Reached to knee, PLenty of room in foot. Quality weave, close yet breatable.

These socks are excellent! I love in the mountains and they keep me warm in the winter. They are comfortable.

I’m not usually a darn tough sock buyer so I was a little skeptical about buying a pair of these but needed some extremely warm socks for outdoor use in frigid temps. These socks fit the bill on that. They not only kept my feet warm but they also avoided building up odors even though I wore them 4 days in a row just to push them to the limit.

I wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered the xl. way too tight even before the first wash.Good socks though, made in USA. will order more, just larger.

A little spendy, but these socks are excellent. I would caution about the review where the person says they are sized small so get a larger size, no mine are slightly too big nevertheless, they keep my feet just right in work boots and do well in cold weather. My feet are cozy and happy. I havent used these yet in the summer, but I have plenty of other socks for summer if these are too warm. I also have a pair I ware when I sleep, the feet love it.

Darn Tough socks are by far the best sock for hunting. When sitting in a sedentary position with your boots touching the aluminum platform of a tree stand for hours at a time, conduction can take a toll on your feet and make them extremely cold. These socks with insulated rubber boots make for a comfortable experience without your toes going numb from the cold. One trick i use is spraying your bare foot with scent free deodorant spray before putting on these socks. Works wonders for controlling sweaty feet . Fit is true to size.
