this has extended the life of my produce to a degree that is very obvious to me. follow the instructions and it will work exactly as promised. i plan on giving several more of these as gifts.

Srsly effective. It is extending the life of lettuces and fruits by weeks. I am so impressed.

This product keeps ethylene gas from ripening fruits prematurely. I purchased a 2 gal. ziplock bag to put my bananas in. I put the blue apples in the bag with them. They stayed in the same condition for approximately a week before they started to ripen. Great product.

Once I learned that the packet (in its plastic apple) needs to be encased in a plastic bag with the produce, and not just tossed willy-nilly into the hydrator, they work exceedingly well. Pricy to buy. But my lettuce, spinach, slaw, celery, etc etc, stay fresh much longer in an almost sealed plastic bag WITH the packet inside the Blue Apple. So I keep track of when I should replace the packets. Just wish the plastic Blue Apple itself was a bit smaller......

I like everything about these. I live alone so I usually had to waste my greens & fruits. I just put the packet in the blue apple, toss them into my crisper trays & my fresh zucchini stays fresh for around 2 weeks! I've had things go bad after a month so you CAN have them go bad if you forget them. I wouldn't go without these!

I eat a small salad every day. I've been buying more expensive pre-packaged lettuce instead of head lettuce due to the rapid deterioration rate. After using Blue Apples I've gone back to buying heads of lettuce. I can keep it in the refrigerator for two weeks with only very minor discoloration. This stuff works and works extremely well.

I eat a lot of bananas and bought this hoping to extend their eatable life. There was absolutely zero effect. The “active ingredient” looked similar to coffee grounds. Save your mo ey. Don’t buy it

These little guys, though small and accompanied by their important small odorless bags really do the job of keeping my produce fresher and lasting much longer in the refrig. Will happily refill them every 3 months.
