Terrific value in every respect - just buy.
Straight out of the packaging these headphones impress: they look great in the red colour, are extremely light and appear to be made using high quality materials. I had no problems at all pairing them with my Kindle Fire HD, Ipod Touches and MP3 player, with the process taking only about two minutes for each device. The addition of a M-M 3.5mm lead is useful, although I've not used it yet (I already have wired headphones). Wearing them, they feel very light on the head and I've found them to be every bit as comfortable as I'd hoped. The range I've found to be about 10m, the control buttons are easy to use and the sound - well the sound sounded far better than I'd expected, with none of the hissing or buzzing noise experienced by others here. Granted I've not tried them out on high end audio equipment (wired headphones would always be better for that anyway), but for relatively inexpensive headphones being used with iPods/MP3 players and Kindles/tablets, they're worth far more than the price I paid (£39.95) - and they're even cheaper now - so I'd recommend them without any hesitation. If I have one negative thing to say about them, it's the audio lag when watching a video, but as that's a common complaint with Bluetooth video+audio and not due to these headphones I had expected it. An adjustment to VLC settings makes it acceptable however.I've still no problems with these fantastic headphones, but for TV use I've paired them with the AUGUST MR250 BLUETOOTH TRANSMITTER and have found there's only a barely perceptable audio delay (far better than the other transmitter I'd tried) - something which has pleased me no end. For some reason I'm not able to review the AUGUST MR250 TRANSMITTER on Amazon (Amazon says I've already reviewed it and refers me to this item's reviews instead). Anyway, to pre-empt any questions, I can say I've found the transmitter works perfectly with the following items with a headphone jack: iPod (all types), iPad, Kindle Fire HD, Internet radio, Samsung LED TV's, Pure Move DAB radio, Samsung Galaxy S4, Various PC's and, well, everything else I've found with a headphone socket. It's a quality product, the rechargeable battery gives me around 10 hours (although it an be charged when in use) and pairing with headphones takes only seconds. August might not be a well-known company, but don't let this put you off buying their headphones and Bluetooth products - they should be.****UPDATE*****I've just bought another pair in the white colour, not because my pair has broken (they're still performing as they did when new), but because I don't want to be without a pair of these terrific headphones when my first pair finally dies. They really are that good.

These are some of the best headphones I have owned. So I bought a second pair!
Prior to purchasing this product I had never heard of August.I originally was looking to purchase a set of (more expensive) Sony 3.5mm wired Headphones, as I am moving to noisy open plan office, so wanted something to block out the noise.I looked at noise cancelling headphones but often the reviews did not credit the sound quality unless I was willing to spend around £250+.A friend then mentioned these, and after looking at the reviews I took the plunge and bought a pair.I could write a big multi paragraph but I will try to break it down to Pros & Cons for ease of reading.I have now been using these for a little under a week.###Pros###Comfort - I wear these for 8Hrs+ a day often for periods of up to 5hrs at a time. Still very comfy barely noticeable. very light and well paddedBattery life - Play music for 5hrs, I plug them into the PC over lunch to get a midday boost, and they are left to charge overnight. Battery has not wavered. They last all day.Sound Quality - Excellent sound quality. Now I am not a musician or some crazy audiophile, but in comparison to most other headphones I have owned (Sony, Skullcandy, Sennheiser, Samsung anywhere between £5 and £60) these sound great. Not too bass(y) clear and handles my very eclectic music taste.Bluetooth 4.0 - The Bluetooth 4.0 is superb. Much better connectivity than previous versions. Admittedly I don't move much from my desk when using them, but have had zero cut outs or the usually Bluetooth problems.3.5mm Jack - This is an awesome little added extra. The detachable cable is provided and a simple plug in and these become fully function wired headphones. August designers deserve a round of applause for this beautifully simple but much needed addition to Bluetooth headphones.Works as a wired PC headset - through the USB cable (Note I have not tried this yet, but my pc has picked up the functionality when I plugged it in. and it is in the documentation)Build quality - For £35 these are great build. Not they are not bomb proof and if you drop them or step on them they probably will break. However they are robust. (I got the Matt Black). They flex well to fit over your head. They collapse and fold away. But are very well built. Do not appear cheap.###Cons###Honestly I have found nothing yet. I've been waiting for these to fail on me, or something to justify the £35 price tag.... But nothing. It just goes to show that good quality does not have to be ridiculously expensive. These are better than several £60 sets I have owned.##Notes##I should mention I have not yet tried the mic on these headphones at this stage as I bought them as headphones. The mic is an added bonus for me. As such I cannot comment on the quality.##Final Thoughts###Anyone giving these a bad press must have a faulty set, or has expectations way beyond £35.August have set the standard in my opinion and my 1st experience with their tech is a very positive start. I will look out for more of there stuff in the future.I would highly recommend these to anyone with Ears!UPDATE: Came back and bought a second pair. I have been using these headphones almost everyday whilst i work without flaw. Charge each night use all day. They are outstanding. I only needed a replacement as I had been a little rough on the original pair. after 2 years of unfolding the headset by grabbing the headband and shaking them open with a flick of the wrist, the headband finally fractured. Not a manufacturing issue at all but a user error/wear and tear. I have learned my lessonThe new pair last even longer with 10+ hours of playback. Sound great, and work just as well. Plus I got a discounted case to keep them in.Even though the price has increased since I purchased them last, the quality still far outstrips any other set of BT headphones I have come across.Still worth every penny.

Brilliant purchase
These are really good and the bass comes through. Once charged the longevity is really good (depending on the amount of usage). Clear when connected to mobile calls. The only downside is pressing them on and off. I found that I had to hold down and press hard for quite sometime before connecting to Bluetooth.
