My wife liked the design very much. She loved the vibrant colours and said it was a pleasure to work on. The design stood up well to the "pixelation" of the gem art process and still looks good from reasonably close up. As is common with these sets there was a small excess of gems for every colour above those needed to complete it. Once it has been coated and framed it will be one of very few designs making it up on the wall.Very few if any misshaped gems can easily be discarded. The tool, wax and tray are adequate if you have not got your own personal ones yet. Overall my wife would be happy to do it again i.e. for a gift, and counts it as one of her favourites (so far).

I really enjoyed making this & my granddaughter loves the finished product. I was a bit short on one colour of the gems & I contacted the seller. They sent replacements free but it took ages. I ended up getting exactly the right colour on Etsy for under £2 to finish the picture on time.

The drills are lower quality than other paintings I've done so far, seems like there was a lot that weren't cut out properly and had little 'skirts' of plastic around the bottomThe definition and details of some of the image is a bit fuzzy looking but overall the picture looks niceAnother wee annoying thing is that some of the numbers/letters are printed a bit big and aren't properly covered by the drills, it's like it was printed for square drills rather than the round ones it came withDespite these niggles it was still an enjoyable picture to work on
