Nickel strips too short to work
I was expecting an issue due to the price, I'm hoping to contact the seller and get the correct nickel strip. Otherwise I'll have to order another brand for that part. The BMS was worth the $7 so whatever. Amazon has been really sucking lately. I've received 4 orders this week , 3 need to be returned due to poor QC from manufacturing and absolutely pis. Poor handling by shipping or warehouse. Rechargeable batteries that came with a cracked case so who knows how good those are going to be. AmaZon = wild West of subpar Chinese goods that may burn your house down😖

The nickel is the correct size. Instructions in 40amp pcb(BMS?) included
If the nickel doesn't fit, flip it and use it on the other side. There are instructions, and it is a 40 amp BMS.(I wouldn't treat it as a 40 amp, but I'd feel comfortable in the 20-30 amp range. As far as paying for what you get, I don't understand how they could make money off this. It would be a great first battery pack for people learning, or just a nice and easy, cheap and quick battery. After testing, I'll update my review if there are any problems.

Had some used batteries and made a 12 volt battery from used ones. Works great
