This matcha is amazing! I’m really impressed with this matcha powder! It’s very flavourful, smooth, and has a rich taste that stands out compared to others I’ve tried. Very good quality matcha. Tastes like it should: rich, smooth, not too bitter either. The colour is as it should be. It's fresh enough and the package size is perfect; I have been using my ordered pack now for 2 months and it's still going. Drinking matcha almost every day now because it is a pleasant change to regular tea and water. This one also goes well with milk lattes and I actually prefer that over the Starbucks version - there were multiple times where I decided against the c in favour of waiting until I got home for my own blend. I personally think, the product is very well worth it's money. And remember, proper matcha can't be cheap because of the way it is produced, so, this is in my humble opinion a very good price! And if it really comes from Japan, then even better.

I don't normally leave product reviews, simply because I don't have a lot more to add than 100 people have already said. I feel it important to review this product because of the vast price variation on matcha throughout the market and this could possibly save someone a lot of money. I've tried quite a few different brands of matcha, many of which are 3 and more times the price of this brand. I have to say, this is just as good as any of the expensive leading brands. The few people who have left bad reviews are obviously inexperienced with matcha and how to prepare it. So it's not this brand they have a problem with, it's matcha in general. I don't think I've seen a better bargain on this quantity of matcha anywhere. There's a lot in the pack for your money. I tastes exactly the same as all of the leading, expensive brands, it does exactly the same job and it mixes exactly the same. Take a teaspoon of the powder, a little more or less depending on how strong you want it to be, put it in a large mug, add a drop of cold water and then stir it around into a paste. From there, my personal preference is to add in a squeeze of honey. You can use a different sweetener or none at all. Once you've got your paste, then you need to decide what you're going to fill the mug with. I use a little milk and water mixed together. Use that, just water, just milk, a milk substitute, whatever. Now heat your filler to warm, just below hot. Gradually add that to the paste, stirring as you go. This is the method I use and this product makes the perfect mug of matcha. I adore coffee but I've been using this for a few weeks now and I haven't had a single cup of coffee and this one mug in the morning provides energy throughout the day. And I think it tastes great. This brand has saved me a lot of money, it's exactly the same as any other matcha and hopefully it'll save you a lot of money also.

One of the best products in the market. I have been buying this same brand over and again since I first started using it last year - coffee makes me jittery and this is a great alternative. Definitely value for money, ceremonial grade and good strength - provides a lovely green colour to my matcha and tastes great - I have def become more picky now to not like the matcha sold in most cafes anymore!My go to recipe: almond/coconut milk, 1 teaspoon of matcha, vanilla syrup and a dash of cinnamon!
