it does work, smell could be better, but works extremely well with bissell carpet machine cleaners only..

Good product
A good product, removed stubborn stains. Good value for money. I struggled to get it to remove the smell of dog urine, used multiple times and whilst the smell wasn’t as strong it was definitely still there

Stain Removal
Didn't totally remove stain. However, did quite a good job seeing as dog had been sick while we were out and so stain had been left to penetrate fabric for a number of hours before treatment.

A compromise - updated
Bissell appears to have discontinued their fabulous Oxy spot cleaning aerosol, although it might be a mistake since it has taken me a couple of months of correspondence with a member of their staff to reach that conclusion. The spot cleaner remains out of stock however and, with carpets that needed attention, I gave this a try.I do own Bissell carpet cleaners, but use them once or twice a year, so had no wish to use this as a pre-cleaning treatment and tried it as a stand alone product, like the aerosol was. It works reasonably well in that scenario and there was no apparent ring or otherwise left on the carpet. Also no stain left, despite Poppy and Portia’s best attempts; well Portia’s anyway, but she does have a lot of allergies. It is a pump bottle rather than aerosol, which might be the reason for the change at Bissell. Wipe up what you can from the mark, spray, dab and leave for 5 minutes and then shampoo the carpet. I did all but the last part and left it for longer, so that it dried, and I then vacuum cleaned. I couldn’t see the marks afterwards, so that’s a good sign.It is okay, but I hope that the aerosol comes back as I know that works on everything. This has worked on everything Poppy and Portia have thrown at it (not quite literally, but you understand where I am coming from) so far, except it doesn’t feel quite so convenient. And I am a creature of habit, as are Poppy and Portia.Update: I have now had a few things to treat, which have failed to be tackled using this spray and required the use of the carpet cleaner afterwards. Despite using as a pre-cleaning spray, there was no improvement to spot cleaning, which took just as long as it would have without prior treatment. If you are using a carpet cleaner, I really don’t feel this improves cleaning or reduces the time the task takes. Try it if you have a stain to treat and as a stand-alone product, but it is definitely not as good as the aerosols, which remain stubbornly unavailable.
