Spend once and forget about it.
Excellent quality, durable product. Works great no issues so far. Very good if you have separate filtered water or you use their own filtration system.

Poorly designed and overly expensive
When we moved home, we thought we would "upgrade" from our previous Brita main + filter tap to Grohe. We were wrong. The pullout function is useless, and may cause flooding; the inner hose is not smooth and is not separated from the other components, so you have to really pull it out and then push it awkwardly back into place, and the weight (also not heavy enough) is ineffective at doing this automatically, as well as potentially damaging existing pipework behind the sink. The tap end doesn't securely lock on to this hose either, it just screws in, so if it becomes a little loose over time then the water will flow back through the tap and flood your cupboard, as has happened to us.The filter tap control doesn't have any kind of handle, which we know realise is plain dumb for a kitchen tap, where you're always juggling multiple glasses or have food on your fingers. You need to have a free, clean hand to use the filtered water tap. The Brita tap has a handle, so you can use the back of your hand or even what you're holding to turn it on or off, which was far more practical. The filters are very, very expensive. The large filters are, at their cheapest, £150, whereas the large Brita filters were £65. I'd say the Grohe lasts a little longer, maybe another half as long as the Brita. The filters are at least twice as expensive for the same volume of water filtered, and the tap itself was also ~£150 more than the Brita equivalent (admittedly without pullout, but we now know that wasn't worth having), with a far less practical design.I would not recommend Grohe filtered water taps. They look good and the build quality feels good, but if the design itself is fundamentally floored then they're poor value for money and are not worth the purchase.

Always open box and missing parts
I got two of these for kitchen renovation and both boxes were opened and missing parts. It is really a hassle to install it in Ireland even with the adaptors. The tap is obviously quality but Grohe should be careful to send a proper item and either warn or include the adapters in the sale.

Low presssure/ bad sprayer pullout mechanism
Terrible tap in many ways.1. Pullout mechanism is super clunky and can damage pipework under sink as when you pull out sprayer it moves massive hose under sink with a weight attached to it. Also not easy sometimes to pull back. We keep insink errator under sink2. Pressure is awful. I have powerful expensive 3d party reverse osmosis system which grohe claims could be supported but due to very think hose for filtered water (or some other hidden part that decreases pressure) it essentially almost broke my osmosis as it was trying to pump through normal stream of filtered water which grohe artificially for no reason blocks.3. Pressure of mains (cold and hot). Again same thing - it smoothes out pressure making stream very soft when I need to push food into sink errator I used to have much cheaper and much better tap that gave me honest flat-level pressure. This is horrendous overpriced piece of garbage. It might have a good quality build - true, but it extremely dysfunctional in real kitchen with real osmosis.

I purchased a new product, but the original seal tape has been torn.
It has been sealed with a different tape.
