Tactical?
To start I am now a general contractor for a living but have a past more demanding of precision tactical eyewear. I purchased these for the transition lenses and the reviews. Total I spent about $325 on these. Upon arrival I was very impressed with them. Solid frames, nice look and adjusts easily to fit perfect. That’s where the good end. I have taken exceptional care of these and due to the price I’ve probably babied them more than I normally would have. They’ve either been on my face or in the bag they provided. I’d had them for a little under a month and they have already started to get micro scratches. I contacted the manufacturer and there solution was buying new lenses from them for $205. So excessively overpriced lenses and not so great customer service. Crappy and scratched lenses don’t work well for construction let alone for a mime “tactical” environment where blurred vision may have a more consequential outcome. To be straight forward the lenses aren’t any better than the disposable Milwaukee glasses I buy for $20 at Depot. The only difference is these transition. I really want to support U.S. and veteran businesses, however for the price and quality I can’t justify supporting them. So if you need these for construction or if your job involves a green aspect spend your money elsewhere
