I have used this in the past to make my candles so prefer to stick to the same one..Easy to use not so strong in smell when warming it, just ensure you pour slowly into your chosen container or it will leave bubbles..Would recommend this item..AAAA*****

The media could not be loaded. Mixes colour well. Made around 12 candles and they came out lovely ☺️I didn’t add scent as I’m only using it for decoration. Will be making scented votives so will update review once done

I bought this candle gel to upcycle some Gu ramekins into candles with the children. We used pens that you bake in the oven to fix to decorate the ramekins, then used the gel and wicks to make candles. The picture is my prototype - so rubbish artwork, but wanted to know how it worked. I melted the gel in the oven in a cheap balti dish at 105C, and poured it into the ramekin (using the wick provided). The gel set quickly, with few bubbles. When lit, the candle provides a gentle flame, but there is added light passing through the sides of the ramekin. I really like it, and will make more.

The gel wax had an oily residue to the touch, the finished candles had the appearance of a film layer on the top and didn’t set clear as other makes of gel wax do, the overall appearance wasn’t acceptable if selling the candles. Overall not value for money as had to remake several candles.
