Came as described
Nice clay that’s tough and keeps details well. Just needs a lot of warming up to get it in a workable state

Great beginner clay
It's a great way to get into sculpting. An easy to use, reusable clay that is near a professional grade. You will need to follow some online instructions for usage, as if you haven't used hard plasticine before, it can be a bit difficult, but once you teach yourself, you'll have endless fun experimenting with it.Your sculpts will hold the test of time, and you will be able to keep them without having to worry about firing or them drying out over time. Plus, if you get tired of them, just make something else!Would recommend full stop, much better than the more expensive clays on the market.

The Product itself is great
Great product that arrived as expected in perfect condition. Only complaint was that it was a little pricey. However, given the current climate, it was to be expected.

Excellent for Sculpting.
Top quality product. I'm new to Sculpting but it's very easy to use. Reusable and as it's soft you don't need to heat or melt to use it. It doesn't stick to your tools or hands. Can be left for as long as you like without covering so you can rework any areas easily. Also if your making a mould your sculpture stays intact when removed.

Disappointed
I've only had this clay for a couple of days, so perhaps I'm speaking too soon and maybe I'm missing the point of the product, but far as I can tell, medium Chavant fine art clay is essentially just a big, heavy, terracotta block of non-drying plasticine (albeit somewhat firmer), the like of which I imagine one can purchase in smaller and more colourful quantities from any modern toyshop. In hindsight I wish I'd tried the hard version instead; which might be much more resistant to unintended physical pressure and ... room temperature :-/

If you are buying to make silicone moulds, you may need the Soft Chavant clay
I wanted to make a two-part silicone mould of something I'd sculpted. This Medium Clay was too firm until I warmed it up significantly. If there were finer details or more protrusions on the object to be moulded, I think this would be too firm. Otherwise, I have always had good results when dealing with MB Fibreglass.

Great for Sculpting
I use this to make sculptures for my SFX and I have to say it’s brilliant. It’s so easy to use but if your find its to hard to work with just warm it up a little in the microwave or with a lighter (but just don’t touch it if it’s melted ).
