Good bulk buy if your addicted to this stuff!
Review for NESTLÉ Coffee-Mate 2.5 kg================================Amazon sells this at a reasonable price - not actually that much cheaper buying in bulk than buying in smaller quantities, when compared to say buying the 500g at Tesco (around the £2.60 mark at the time of writing) , and the best price is for 1kg at Iceland for £4.00.But I go through tons of this stuff and the largest you will find in supermarkets that do them is 1kg, so for me the larger 2.5kg makes sense. The 2.5kg comes in a plastic bag, so I usually keep a finished 1kg red tin and use that to refill, sealing the 2.5kg bag in a plastic sealable food bag (the ones you usually use in the freezer).Taste wise, this creamer is excellent - in the old days, I used to use both milk and this creamer (for taste), but for the last four or so years, I use this in place of milk. It has two benefits - it tastes so much better than milk, and more importantly it doesn't cool the coffee down (if you put too much milk, which I used to do). I also found it works really well in tea too! In tea, used in place of milk, it really puts out a nice colour to the tea and the taste is really good. I now routinely use this powder when making tea and coffee, and I always get surprised questions (especially from tea users) saying how nice it is.Healthwise it’s 50/50. While Nestle claims its healthy, (low fat), that's not entirely true. It is high in saturates, which can be bad in large quantities, (but ok if you use it sensibly). It doesnt use vegetable oil, but it does use Palm oil which is thought to be better than veg oil, which brings me to my next point . . .It uses Palm Oil. Nothing wrong in that per se - Google for it yourself, “More than 50% of packaged supermarket products contain palm oil, and it's in nearly everything including shampoo, lipstick, bread, chocolate, detergent and more. The reason for this is because it's a low-cost resource and an incredibly efficient crop”. Unfortunately, because it is such an efficient yield crop, taking half the size of other crops (landwise), but producing more, it has led to an increase in deforestation, and raises other issues such as pesticide uses used in palm oil crops. It's a complicated issue, with a lot of other manufacturers hiding the fact they use Palm Oil by labeling Palm Oil as “vegetable oils and fats”, so hats off to Nestle for being honest about it.

Once great value, now a total rip off.
In 2023 this was £12.2025 it's over £23.There's absolutely zero justification for this and I've stopped buying it as a result.Quality product but not worth it at all at this price.

Good price for the creamer but faulty packaging this time.
I have bought this on Amazon before as it’s the best deal I can find for coffee mate, in the past I’ve had no problem and creamer is of the same high standard you can get in the grocery shops. However, this time it arrived with a small hole in the packet near the top, with some contents spilled into the Amazon box that was undamaged. You cannot return or replace this item if it arrives damaged, just adding this to the review comments to raise awareness. I did not read the small print myself.

Coffee Mate - quality you’d expect, price that’s good. Tastes like it should too!
Coffee white, it does what you expect, decent quality creamer, taste good - medium size (not sure they even make the large now) good value when bout in a multipack like this

Poor Quality and not as it used to be.
Ive always purchased the bulk 2.5kg bag and recently the quality of the powder has greatly reduced. When I opened my last bag it was clearly dirty looking as it had lots of darker particles in the powder.I had a pot from a while back that I use from camping and there was a clear quality difference on 2 things. The powder used to be a lot lot finer and pure white. Now its not as finely ground and has particles im not sure what from new out the bag. Bit unsettling when im consuming it.One pic has bits in from a new bag and the pure pic is from a while back.Is this coffee mate being copied and sold?
