The keys are solidly made metal and offer the ability to remove that final bit stuck in the tube. I usually roll down the tomato paste manually then when the tube is near the end I use the key to re roll it, remove the key and squeeze the pooled amount near the opening. Seems to work well.

These work well to squeeze tube contents out with minimum waste.

Really handy little tool.

I hate waste. I hate those plastic squeezy bottle of mayo which are impossible to empty unless you take a sharp knife and cut the darn thing in half. Toothpaste and tomato puree tubes are another annoyance but at least one of these little gizmos enables to 99.99% of the contents to be extracted.These are really sturdy - much more so than I expected for the money - and easy to use. Simply slot the tube into the long part of the "key" and turn wide handle bit. They do work, to a certain extent, with those hideous plastic toothpaste tubes, but the squeezer won't stay put once it's rolled the tube. However, this is better than wasting the toothpaste.This set of three is excellent value, allowing one in each bathroom and one in the kitchen.

These would have been great on the older type of tubes but the plastic ones unfurled themselves as soon as you put them down great idea but not practical

Excellent stops all waste, gets the very last drop out of all tubes.

Good quality keys which I have used on toothpaste and hand cream tubes.
