The only good third party batteries
This is a good battery for the 1000 series PSPs. The only third party ones with performance comparable to the OG Sonys.I get 4-5 hrs out of this playing games.

Does the job, a little tight to fit in but works perfectly, and great value.

Works well but just slightly larger than my PSP can hold
Battery works well and so far has held charges well, however it is a little bigger than my PSP can cope with so I can't close the cover properly, hence dropping 1 star.

Got my PSP up and running
Fits perfectly for my psp 1000 model, the original battery had swollen which is common.

Excellent replacement for the OEM battery!
I've had my PSP-1004 for around 20 years and when I went back to it recently I found the original battery had swollen! So a suitable replacement was in order, and this one certainly fits the bill. It's the same mAh as the original and it fits well enough into the battery port, all be it a little snug. All in all, a perfect runner up to the OEM battery which is no longer in manufacture!

Not recharging!
Fitted well and worked all fine, until the time for recharge came. Failing to recharge. No sign of life in it after the initial use from delivery. Very disappointing.Based on personal experience, I would not recommend.

Over Sized.
I purchased this battery for a 1003 psp and the quality is good for a aftermarket however my back cover wont close properly however if you force it it will but i dont like doing this,However i purchased the psp off ebay as a faulty unit as i do electronics as a hobby so i plan to modify the battery so it fits perfectly by just removing a couple of mm around the edges then i will close it back up and i think it will be fine then however you shouldnt have to do this and other people might not be happy doing this,i think a better option might be looking for an original and replacing the internal battery for a fresh new one and you are guarenteed it will be a perfect fit.However if you are ok doing this then the battery is ok in general and with a little mod its going to be fine.But to sum up they dont fit good in a 1003 unit so just bear this in mind.
