Isehan Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Waterproof Black

I recently rated another mascara as being best for East Asian lashes but actually I think this trumps it because it gives a much more natural and voluminous finish with no clumping. Also, unlike the other one I reviewed, it doesn't leave your lashes really hard after application, so much so that you can feel them when you blink. It's very waterproof and smudge proof, I went out for a run with this on and no black eyes and held the curl. It is hard to remove but just use an oil based remover. I use argan oil and works fine.

I’ve been using this mascara for years, according to Amazon I’ve bought it 14 times so I thought it was finally time to write a review! Needless to say, it’s a brilliant mascara. I love that it gives a very natural look that you can build up, it never clumps, smudges, or flakes. The formula isn’t too wet so you don’t have to wait for it to dry down and it literally doesn’t budge, holds a curl perfectly. I only wish I could find the brown one. I recently bought an expensive brand in their brown formula and it just wasn’t half as good as this one. I live in fear of it being discontinued!

Credit where credit is due, this is an amazing mascara. I litch bawled my eyes out the day I wore this and there wasn’t a smudge to be seen. If you’re looking for make up to use for sports or swimming, this is the one. However, it took me HOURS to get it off. Maybe I don’t have a the right materials to get it off, but it was so difficult to get it off, that I’m jst not gonna use it until I find a way to get it off easily. If anyone knows the best quickest way to get this off, PLEASE share…

Never have I used a better mascara for my lashes! I am Chinese so naturally my lashes are short and extremely straight. This is the first mascara I've ever used which has held my lashes all day after I've curled them with an eyelash curler. Other mascara just weighs down my lashes and feel too heavy. It really does lengthen your lashes and is the most waterproof mascara I've ever used and it doesn't run/budge at all.Due to the super-waterproofness factor I would highly recommend an oil-based waterproof eye-make up remover (I use Nivea Double Effect Eye make up remover. Cheap and cheerful & does the job!) as normal "removes waterproof mascara" type products won't budge this mascara.I would 100% recommend this product and I think I've found my mascara for life now. I used to think Benefit - They're Real! mascara was good, but this mascara takes it to the next level.I've attached a pic which is just after I've put the mascara on and curled my lashes.

Look, I know this is a waterproof mascara but this literally refuses to come off. I’ve tried Micellar water, oil based cleansers, baby wipes etc. In the end I essentially had to pull it off my lashes, which pulled so many lashes out. I still have some stuck on my lashes with no clue how to get it off. All this could be acceptable if the mascara was actually good.. it isn’t. It’s done absolutely nothing for the length of my lashes. If I could give this less than 1 star I would.

Amazing. Absolutely fantastic. The best mascara that I've ever tried.

I have straight short Asian lashes and most waterproof mascaras smudge on me after a few hours, or the curl drops, or doesn't lengthen or define my lashes well enough. This fibre waterproof mascara however stays put all day, never smudges even if I tear up, and lengthens and defines, as well as retain the curl in my lashes from my use of a Shu Uemura eyelash curler. Nothing else I've tried is as effective as this mascara. It's so longlasting that no makeup remover removes it as easily as its own brand of mascara remover, which I also have.

I’ve ordered a few different mascaras over the last few months to try outThis was my latest purchaseI read so many great reviews of this Japanese mascara so although it’s much more expensive than my others I thought it worth a tryI love most Japanese cosmetic things especially their oil cleansers (like Hada Labo & DHC oil cleansers etc)I honestly can’t see how this mascara is so highly rated. When you apply it it seems to apply absolutely no product to your lashes and does nothing. I tried applying more and more product but my lashes just didn’t really do anything much at all, maybe a little more definition and maybe a very little curl but not enough to make any real noticeable differenceI left it on my lashes for the day and sure enough, as others have mentioned, it absolutely stays put with no smudging etc. ok so for that I’m giving 2 starsIn the evening I used my normal Hado Labo oil cleanser to remove my makeup and this mascara and it was just about impossible to get this mascara off. I had to apply extra oil cleanser three times before I removed most of it but some still remained. I was going to make my eyes extremely red and sore if I carried onThis was £18 when I purchased so it’s an expensive mistake and I honestly can’t recommend this mascaraOf the other mascaras I’ve tried I can highly recommend these:Essence Lash Princess Sculpted Volume Mascara @ £5Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Sky High @ £8
