I felt compelled to write a review due to coming onto Amazon to buy some replacement thick hair hairbands as we’ve recently moved and I can’t remember where I put my current ones.As I came onto Amazon it informed me that I ordered these hair bands for the first time in 2017!I have to tie my hair up every day for work so they are constantly in use. They tie my thick long hair up easily and stays put. Once the hairbands have been in use for a few weeks-months (actually never properly noticed length of time) they start to get looser but this is only noticeable when the band is out of your hair and on your wrist. It does not affect use in hair.I’m fairly certain I had atleast 5-10 bands left but unable to locate, so these bands definitely pass the test of time and can’t recommend them enough!!!

I have very thick hair so I wondered if this would work. I have my hair straight sometimes but also curly. This works for both, the only thing I would say is that over time, the elasticity does wear off, but you have plenty more in the pack. With the hairband being very stretchy, this may prevent those with thick hair from being able to hold the hair tight enough the whole time you are trying to put it in a ponytail.

These are amazing!! I have thick, heavy hair, and because of that, no hair bands have ever been able to hold my hair in place without sagging or falling down from the weight. I have tried various hair ties, all promising to hold thick hair in place, and these are the first that have actually delivered on that.They’re super stretchy - I thought they’d be too soft and flexible to hold my heavy pony tail or bun, but three or four loops around, it stays put. It probably could go around once more, but there’s really no need as it gives me a sturdy result.The hair bands are comfortable, soft and really stretchy. They don’t make my hair feel pulled or snagged, and they slide out easily when I want to wear it down. They’re not bulky either, they’re quite slim and would work as well for plaits or smaller ponytails. I’ve never been able to do a half up half down topnot, as my hair bands would create horrible floppy little buns which would instantly unravel - these bands held a perfect little top knot on my first attempt.Most importantly - I run and I do hiit workouts, and the bouncing motion from running, brurpees, etc always caused my ponytail or bun to fall down. These stay in place, even with high impact moves or a lot of jumping up and down. I am amazed!

If you have a lot of thick hair these are the ones! They are big, thick and very stretchy. I've had a pack last me years. They are all stretched out now so they are huge and have lost their elasticity but this is after years and not a single one has broken.Re ordering now so thought I'd leave a review. Apparently I purchased these in 2019!

I certainly wouldn't call these 'large', but I suppose it depends on what you compare them to. They are very narrow, about 1 cm. Used singly they just do not grip the hair and slide off very easily, so it's better to use two at a time. Do not appear to be cotton either, more like a very closely knitted/woven firm to the touch stretchy synthetic. Kinder to the hair than an elastic band, but not as good as the 'fatter' softer knitted type which seem very hard to find now. Cheap though for the number you get.Edit: I can't change my star rating for the product, but the company certainly does deserve five stars for Customer Care. They contacted me about my issue - which admittedly was not life or death but they still took the trouble to do it. They offered me an alternative product which is more similar to the type I was looking for, or a refund - even though I am way past the return date. I chose the alternative product and I do not have to return the others. So, great Customer Care for a change and I appreciate this very much. Thank you.
