Always bought the standard Scünci hair bands which are fine. Needed some more after those bands gave out and found these, which are fabulous! They’re thick and elastic without being overly so and loose. They hold my voluminous and thick hair perfectly, and an upper ponytail stays ALL day, even when running or working out. Worth every penny.

First one busted on me. I have thick hair but I mean.. not THAT thick. They are okay. Good for two ponytails if that’s the route you’re going for.

These are great, quality hair ties for thick, curly hair. I use them everyday and they don’t fall apart. I even gave some to my friends with thicker hair than me and they love them! I recommend these hair ties for anybody with all types of hair!!

The good thing is, they feel really strong. But it’s advertised as being xtra strong & “great for full hair.” I have long hair that’s kind of thick, not really even that “full,” & I can barely loop it twice. The band itself is very thick & strong but not flexible at all so I can barely get any hair through it. I can only use this for the bottom of a braid, most definitely not for a ponytail or bun.

Works well on thick hair.
