I bought this Manuka Honey for my sore throat, I have had ME / CFS since May 2016 so I have to be very careful as I now have a food & drink tolerance, I was quite nervous in consuming the honey, but I had nothing to worry about, as it didn't effect my condition at all, I found it's not to sweet as other honey's, I had a teaspoon in the morning & last thing at night & within 2 day's my sore throat had gone, I had no problems at all taking it, it's brilliant, I highly recommend it.

I've already ordered a second pot of this honey and, apart from it tasting great, it did save me from having to take antibiotics when I had quite a bad gum infection - I mixed it with some organic cider vinegar and warm water to dissolve, then used it as a mouth wash. My infection was gone within less than 3 days. I now carry a mix of this in my handbag to rinse after every meal. You can swallow this mixture and it's really beneficial for your gut and health as well.

Bought to use as a medicine for a cough. Definitely worked and far better than a cough medicine. It keeps for ages as well. Tastes lovely. Bit pricey but only need it occasionally so will keep for medicinal purposes.

I bought this product as Manuka honey knowing its antibacterial and soothing properties but only when I came to review it did I realise the information contained within the reviews make for interesting reading. Firstly this honey is very nice - it’s very thick but not solid and it smells like honey!I’m not an expert in Manuka honey and possibly only used it once before many years ago. If you are looking for Manuka honey with the quantified beneficial properties it may be worth you reading the other reviews and on line info.What I have picked up is that the 30+ indicator whilst stating 30 MG may lead people to believe it’s similar to 30 UMF.A UMF20 will equate to a 829 MGO so the 30+mg here does not even appear on the UMF scale. Further reading has led me to information that 10-15 UMF (or 263-550 MGO) is known to be useful and 16+UMF is superior. Not all manufactures will belong to the associations but if you are wanting to be sure of the beneficial elements of the honey you are better to look out for the UMF or MGO ratings and read up about it. Of course the those honeys are more expensive. And there are other ratings too.I did enjoy this honey and I felt after using it whilst having a cold it was very soothing in my throat and down into my digestive system. I will continue to use this bottle and then later buy a higher rated product and perhaps come back in the months to come and comment if I thought there was a discernible difference. Some useful websites have been left by other reviewers about this product. A nice honey which deserves 4* for taste but for all the confusion on the label I give 3*.
