They're super durable and work great in the woods to protect my legs. I replaced the bottom strap ( that goes under the boot )with a bungee cord though which is much more convenient than the strap it came with.

Working in the Dallas heat and humidity can make wearing extra layers uncomfortable, but these snake gaiters are surprisingly breathable. While they provide excellent protection, they don't feel hot or restrictive. The adjustable straps allows for a customized fit over different types of boots and pants.

Great quality, only gave it 4/5 stars because of the fit. It’s not like the photo, it’s much more of a rigid and rectangular without being broken in or modified. I got them for shin guard alternatives for airsoft, it took a little bit to make them more comfortable and form fitting.

While I have not tested these with a snake, and hope I never will, they fit comfortably enough and the work great for keeping debris off when weed walking. Plus as I have unexpectedly crossed paths with a cotton mouth before buying these, should it occur again I feel much better knowing there is something between it and me should it get the jump on me!Also, as with any gaiter - it does add a layer of insulation - making it warmer to wear. That can be good or bad depending on the temperature. But I'll take warmer over unprotected!Also the knee section can be zipped off if it's more coverage than you think you need. Which is nice to have the added flexibility in coverage. Most other snake gaiters don't cover the knee. I like it because it give more protection especially if getting down for yard work.

They work great also do pretty good with my dogs lol

These have worked well so far. Greet for areas that also have thorny vines so you don't end up with a million scratches through your clothes. The vendor was very helpful when one clasp came off .....very willing to replace that pair (I bought two pairs). 2nd pair wearing great!

This helps protect my feet when walking out in our acreage. We have snakes out there and this gives me peace of mind when wearing them and protects me from getting punctured.

EDIT ---After I wrote this review indicating that I replaced these with full chaps, seller reached out. I am very impressed with this excellent seller.As highly rated as these were, I replaced them with full chaps after finding out snakes in my area can whip up and strike you above the knee. They also did not work well for me because they did not stay facing forward despite the straps and fasteners (this could be because I wore thick tall rubber boots under them when I was out in snake areas). There is a plastic shield under the fabric covering, which is stiff and probably would stop a snake.
