I’ve been a loyal user of the Essence Lash Princess Waterproof Mascara for a long time and loved it, so I wasn’t really looking to change. But I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try, and I’m glad I did!Used with my eyelash curler, the results are fantastic, my lashes look thicker, fuller, and longer straight away. The deep black formula is creamy and coats each lash evenly without clumping, while the oversized brush adds amazing volume and really lifts the lashes. It lasts all day without smudging, even through a busy day, and the waterproof hold is reliable.It also lasts ages before needing to be replaced and honestly performs just as well as some of the more expensive mascaras I’ve tried, but at a fraction of the price. For me, it’s excellent value and has quickly become a new favourite.

This is now my go to mascara. I have tried so many different brands and higher price mascaras but have been left disappointed. If you're looking for volume and a bit of length then this is perfect and a fab price too!

I absolutely love this mascara, and was very happy when I found a 3 pack on Amazon. I knew I liked this mascara, but couldn't remember why I had stopped using it. Plus it's animal friendly with Vegan ingredients. I applied the mascara, and, wow, it really makes your eyelashes long and thick....so very happy. It was only about 4 hours later, when I looked in the mirror, that I realised it was flaking on lower lashes!! 😒 . This mascara is very good, but I would suggest putting on upper lashes only due to flaking, or suggest using a mascara primer first! I still like the results/ price though!!

The best I’ve ever used

I usually never used waterproof mascara, but had to get this because the normal non waterproof mascara I was using smudged a lot while wearing a face mask, as depending on what mask I wear, my breath goes through the top part to my eyes into my lashes, and we all know our breath contains water which gets caught in your lashes after quite a while, if you have to wear the mask longer in closed rooms, and that softens your mascara and it smudges and makes you look like a panda bear.Thought I give it a try, as this is the brand I used in Germany (I'm living in England now).×First of all the brush is way to big if you'd ask me, I get more mascara under my eyes and on my eyelids than acceptable. So if you don't have really, and I mean REALLY long lashes, I suggest you to look for something with a smaller brush.×Is it waterproof? Kind of, I noticed that it did give me a little smudge after rain. But then again, if you try to remove it only with water, that won't get you far, it smudges, but definitely won't come all off. Which brings me to :×Easy to remove? NO WAY! It really is a pain to remove it, and the more layers you got on, the harder it gets. Prepare yourself to use lots of soap, makeup remover or whatever you use. I found it the easiest to put some lotion on cotton pads and put them on my eyes for a few minutes. Everything else will need a lot of rubbing, which isn't the most gentle way, right?If you only use it every once in a while, it will be OK, but for me using it daily because of the face mask situation, I'm not too happy with it.

Best affordable mascara I’ve purchased

I recently tried the essence I love extreme mascara and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! Supposed to be waterproof. Look like a linebacker without trying. Not sure on other reviews influencing my purchase decision. I have it multiple chances including not wearing on bottom lashes- no good. In the bin!!
