Got these keys for my 2014 Toyota 4Runner worked great programmed easily

I ordered this for my 2010 4 runner(no push button start). I have the original key and a spare key. Both of those keys have G imprinted on the metal. I purchased these 2 keys off Amazon hoping to program them. I have followed the programming step by step and it doesn't program to my car. I think this is not the G key and now I have to send it back.

This worked for 2012 rav4 but keep in mind if you don’t have a master key this will work as one but you most likely won’t be able to diy because you have to clear the computer. This worked for my G key also if the only key you have is grey than that means you have a “vallet” key and not a master key. I have a vallet key so I was only able to program the fob my self. The two keys were cut and programmed for $120. If your in ca gl with finding a home depot or ace hardware that will do it for you majority wouldn’t touch it because of the fob.

The keys arrived as promised, I was able to program them for the security code and the remote, but the one feature for a keyfob that gets used nearly everytime is double press unlock to unlock all doors and not just the driver door. This double press is refusing to work. It is crazy frustrating.

I see a lot of negative reviews about the keys so I was iffy about buying them but went with it anyway. I just had a locksmith come to my house and cut and program the keys to my 2019 4Runner. And they work perfectly. They will lock and unlock with the buttons and start my 4Runner without any problems. Maybe I got lucky but everything about them works great.

2019 4Runner TRD ORP - I took a shot with these and while they don't have a "G" imprinted on the key, I took them to Ace Hardware and they were able to cut and program the keys with no problem. Both keys start the engine, lock, unlock, panic and double push to unlock all work.I'm no expert, so I'm not sure why there have been so many other issues, perhaps I just got lucky. I'm pleased with this product so far and will update if I run into any issues (such as unreliable usability).

Had them cut, on 5tg Gen 4 runner the transponder and wireless must both be programed. Easy to do with an OBD scanner or any locksmith can do it. Will not self program as directions say.

Got the key cut works in the door but cannot program to my 2017 4 runner . Just a waste of money . Wish they would have worked .
