Bought for my dad's new car that was distinctly lacking in car seat pockets, and to replace a much smaller item that was not fit for purpose - these are a good size, and fit well, used to store maps mostly, packets of tissues and the odd bottle of water. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought mainly to protect seat back . I tried the pockets , but not much use as others have said.
